  • Hello Gladys. Thanks for inviting me to see Abingdon Miniature Village. What a delightful and charming place this must be to visit. I am very impressed with the models. Their likeness to the 'real ones' is amazing. And ofcourse the setting is just beautiful, with very well maintaned and cared for gardens. Your photos show the village off superbly. A really interesting and well presented album. So glad I got to view it. I also want to thank you for calling by and your lovely comments in my g/bs. I am always happy to hear from you. We thought our cold weather had ended, but this weekend the temperature has dropped once more. No snow though, thank goodness. The weather forecast for next week should see warmer weather coming. I hope so. Easter is only 2 weeks away and I can't wait to be out visiting our local area taking more photos. I'm hoping to visit Warwick Castle. Take care. Fondest wishes, Jayne, UK. :) xx

  • G'day Gladys. You were right, this place is just like Cockington Green in Canberra. I haven't had a real good look because everything is happening in slow motion at the moment. (with the net I mean)I'll have another look another time. I only just worked out that I can crop pics with the webshots thingo but when I do they go to the bottom of the page. Is that normal?. I've found heaps that need cropping but if they're all going to end up wrong I won't bother. I've had my whinge so hooroo for now. Al.. PS. I had a enough of a look to see that you did your usual exceptional job taking these photos.

  • Hello Gladys Loved your photo album, being originally from the UK it brought back many memories. I had to keep reminding myself that it was a minature village because it looked so real. Next time I visit Mandurah I will have to find out where it is. Many thanks Jean B
