Hello, Mike, I had noticed your Paris collection with some great shots and noted this was another place we both visited! The Nikon Coolpix Series tend to be quite expensive, but you may do well with a more modestly priced digital. I bought for a friend a Fuji Finepix A210 which retails here (incl accessories) for $180(2.0 megapixels) I have samples of her photos and they are excellent! Can send you a sample photo if you give me your email. Fuji has higher megapixel count digitals for US$ 200-300.I realize your price for all these may be higher.Internet is a great source for shopping for features. Good luck!

Hi again Mike. It was my intention to view your albums in order, but I just had to jump over to Paris. Let me also 'introduce' you to a lovely French couple, Henri and Käthi, whose photos are at 'oertlif' and 'oertlif_2' if you care to visit them. I just love the way you 'see' things. The restaurant shots are wonderful, including the lady in red. I also like the hotel night shots, the reflections you captured in Boules and the tree 'framework' in Bastille. Last time I've visited was 17 years ago, we might be coming for a visit in July, 06, looking forward to it:0) I will post coments on my Poland photos & will send u a note, it was truly an amazing trip & I was shocked how much have changed!!
