Hello Gladys, I enchant to me this type of photographies. Christmas is one of the celebrations preferred by me. As much friendship, as much affection, so many good intentions is distributed... Hi Gladys! Yes McKittrick Canyon in Guadalupe mountains is pretty, but it is so remote that few visitors go there. You know about remoteness, of course, being from Australia. Your country is so beautiful that one day I am planning to spend 2 months there sightseeing. Any time less than that would not give Australian Nature and Beauty any justice. Best Regards. Majed

Thanks for all the information about the Nuytsia floribunda, the West Australian Christmas Tree. I assume, that the tree does not bloom at Christmas!?!? Do you 'use' it like an 'normal' Christmas tree? I mean: cut it down and put it in the home with all kinds of decorations?? The 'Red Poinciana delonix regia' is very common here in Israel, too. I know it as 'Royal Poinciana'. I am already looking some time for some of them to make an album out of it. This year was a very bad year for the Poincianas, they did not bloom at all! Someone in my family said: they bloomed so very beautiful in 2003, when my daughter Idith got married and they rested in 2004. Next year when Idith will give birth sure there will be an other beautiful bloom.
