Album Description:
I was born and raised in Jersey City at a time when we considered New Jersey a suburb of Hudson County. It was a different time and place.

Being a native Staten Islander I've been to Bayonne many times over the years,(Some good restaurants there!)~~~My grandmother lived in Jersey City for many years and I have lots of memories of hanging out there as a teenager with my cousins who lived there.~~~Your photos bring on lots of memories of time spent in New Jersey over the years. Thanks Dan!

IT'S TRUE THAT THIS CHURCH WAS IN THE MOVIE, BUT ONLY AS A BACKDROP! THE INTERIOR SHOTS WERE TAKEN IN A CHURCH HALL ON 4th AND HUDSON STREETS. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN HOBOKEB PHOTOS, THEN GOTO public.fotki.com/GCDOUGHE RTY/ I TOOK THESE LAST WEEKEND. I INTEND TO TAKE MORE AS SOON AS I RESOLVE THE PARKING PROBLEMS. PLEASE, IF YOU LOOK AT THEM, SIGN MY GUEST BOOK.

Hi Dan, I have viewed your photos and am very impressed with your NJ shots. I would like to talk to you about an opportunity for a project that you may be interested in but I have no way of getting in touch with you. If you read this message, please feel free to send me an email at budd2e@comcast.net It is a work related project that I have to do and would welcome your help. If you can contact me at your earliest convenience that would be great as the project is timely. Hope to hear from you. Thanks! Valerie
