I sailed on the Royal Princess. It's a very nice, but older, boat. Decent service. Average age of passengers was about 65 or so. I really liked the promenade deck - wonderful to walk around on it + look at the stars. Best port stop was either Aruba or Huatulco (very different so hard to compare). Seeing the Panama Canal - had to get up pre-sunrise. We came in from the Pacific so had great views of the Bridge of the Americas/Panama City during sunrise - I was very happy about that. Canal operation was excellent to see - so cool to see the water fill the locks, the little trains pull the boat through, and the coordination of all the parts. Also cool to watch the guys walk across the tops of locks so nonchalantly. Beautiful jungle and lots of fog makes a somewhat surreal experience. Hope you have fun on your journey!
