CIAO MY FRIEND!! First, thank you for the invitation :-) I'm HAPPY to see so many of your shots from our trip. Of course, many of them are such that I couldn't take (because I didn't have the idea or because I couldn't get over the difficult conditions). It's a great pleasure having these wonderful pictures as a memory of that fabulous time. Of course you had a wonderful sense for beauty and color already when you took the early shots, but here we can see how you improved yourself (and your camera). You've got magnificent views of the villages, too many to be listed; I wouldn't say they look like postcards, but like beautiful paintings. Excellent portraying of everyday detils (such as 27 and 46); and of course, GORGEOUS captures of our lucky cat. I'm happy to know that, following our discussions in Webshots Blog, it's possible to disable the NEW sign for an album. However, I think that you should consider adding it, as you have really many wonderful new shots here. Besides, those people who saw my Liguria album will now have a basis for comparison :-p . Last, Congratulations for over 2000 fans! Hoping for many more to come in the future :-) IL MIO GRANDISSIMO ABBRACCIO! Orly

:-s I don't remember this album! but it's beautiful. Yes, of course you improved yourself since then, but there are some wonderful shots of the picturesque towns, cliffs and sea. How wonderful it is to have a friend, guide and photographer like you! I only wonder how your English really sounds like... >:) Well I won't say anything about it unless you test me on Italy's map... >:D< MILLE DI ABBRACCI!!! Orly

Ciao Ruggero! I can't believe I have never commented on this album before. I know I've been here because I have already downloaded several of the shots. Today I picked up a few more :-) You know I love the Cinque Terre from visiting my portafortuna web site. I spent my birthday there one year and it was heavenly - Vernazza is definitely my favorite of the 5 but I love them all - even parts of Monterosso (the old part). You have managed to capture their beauty perfectly and with imagination as you always show in your work. I'm looking forward to see what you come up with in pietas from Milan! It's a good game for my European friends, no? You are at a definite advantage over those of us here in the States - many more opportunities to find them where you are. I'd look first in the Duomo - almost every cathedral has one on a side altar somewhere. Thanks for the invitation to Simona's site - what an artist she is!

Così, periodicamente, andrò a farti visite! Di nuovo complimenti!

Ciao Ruggero ! I had not yet viewed this album and it was a mistake ! My friend, the way you show us Italy is a continuous pleasure and the title of your album is the right one : COLORS ! My favorites are the pics of the villages with their warm colors. even with a gry sky, they look full of light ! Thanks Rugero for this nice trip in Italy and thanks too for your nice and generous coments on my Gerone and Clouds albums. I am impatient to see your Girona future album and to see the way you have viwed this beautiful town ! Have a nice week, Ruggero, friendly, Chantal

It is a great pleasure to watch your albums! The "views of the sea" are magnificent! The contrast between the hilly coast and the blue of the sea makes for great images! As for the houses, the way they are built - well, don't you think they might fall into the sea at the next earthquacke?!As Luc said below, I agree that you ARE a good photographer with a feeling! Also, Italy offers so many places which are more than beautiful and a history that not many other countries in the world can bost. My favourite here is No.31. Best regards from Japan, Yoshiyuki Tanaka

Roger, I just read your guestbook entry. Thanks for the kind words. I have looked at your photos of the Cinque Terre. Yours are fantastic and put mine to shame. I look forward to looking at the other albums too. They make me want to go back and to look harder at what I was seeing. You have a great eye for taking photos. It makes me want to try harder. I really loved my short visit to the area. Maybe I can go back again some day. I will tell my friends from the tour about your photos so they can view them too. Phil

Hi, Roger; Thank you for your entry in my guestbook. I'm glad you found my photo albums and that you like them. I like yours, too, very much (you have a very good eye for color and lines). I love the vivid colors of the buildings, I wish every country painted their walls that way. The world would more colorful and maybe people would be nicer to each other. It reminds me of the song "Dipingi un mondo per me con tutti i colori che hai.." I can't remember the rest but it's like your photos. Thanks again for "finding me". Ciao. Carmela

Hi Roger, thanks for your compliments on my pictures. I loved taking them very much, Florence is a beautiful city and I was pleased to think I've done it some amount of justice. I had a wonderful time in the 12 days I was there for the Biannale this December, I just wish that I had had more time to photograph all the wonderful sights. Hopefully I will return for the next show in 2005 and explore a lot more. PS. we have the little pig that is in the center in our town in Lyndonville in the U.S. I was surprised to find it also in the Louvre in Paris! Linda Kittredge
