  • I'm setting up a new site to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar; a tribute to Nelson and his Navy. If you're interested in the events of 1805 (some say that Napoleon's true defeat came at Trafalgar and not Waterloo), then please have a look. The site is dedicated to all the celebrations leading up to the 200th anniversary of Horatio Nelson’s victory against the combined fleets of France and Spain at the Battle of Trafalgar. The home of the Royal Navy, the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth, England, will be hosting this tremendous event during the Festival of the Sea 2005, with over 1,000 modern warships & majestic tall-ships in attendance from all corners of the globe. http://www.paintedships.com

  • Enjoyed your submission of "Great Ships". We saw some of these when we visited Halifax a few years back. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
