  • Hi,Linda. Your pictures are Great.. We also stayed at the Barlovento in June 2003. We are going back April 5,2004. This time staying at the Iberostar Bella Costa. We were going to stay at the Barlovento again. The resort was nice, great food and the staff was excellent. But we thought it is nice to try out new resorts. I can't wait, I hope it is as good as the Barlovento was. My Husband worked in Cuba for 1.5 years with(Sherrit Power). We have become close friends to alot of great people Cuba. My Husband worked directly with the Cubans. They are one of the kindest people around(many people could learn so much from them). They have left such a lasting Impressions our only holiday destination is Varadero. Its like going home to visit the family. They all treated us like family and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I honestly can't say enough about what great people they are.

  • Thanks so much for sharing your great photos of this lesser known Varadero resort. Many repeat visitors consider the Barlovento one of those hidden Cuban gems. Looks like you had a great time! Loved your resort review at debbie's website!
