hello Suresh, what elaborate & ancient architecture you show us here. I have to confess you are educating me on the history of India as my knowledge is not great on that land. Afraid I have been very tardy on sending you my thanks for your many very knind comments on my last 4 uploaded album. So please accept my 4 big thankyou's for those. As you say butterflies have also been in short supply over here as well, climate change etc. We are going through a very dry period in eastern UK, many of our village ponds & pools are completely dried out & birds are changing their habits, autumn migrants are in short supply so far. Take care. Eric.

Hi Suresh, I am impressed by this album of Hampi. It brought me back to the time that I visited this spectacular place. I even went down the river in one of those little round boats. I like very much your style of photogrphy and shall have the pleasure of seeing other albums of you. Thank you very much for sharing!

I had to come back to look at this album again. When I was reading the link you sent me, I saw a photo of the stone chariot at the Hampi temple and immediatley remembered it from your albums. Enjoyed this album all over again. Carol

I have always wanted to visit India to view the temples, the people and culture of India is some thing that will always amaze me. People talk about "The West" but nothing can can close to some of these culture that the west has cushed. Lets hope we can learn from our mistakes before it is too late.

Hi, Suresh - namaskara! What a fabulous collection - I especially loved Hampi and Khajuraho, since I lived in Bangalore 3 years and really became enamored with the thousand-year-old temples with their magnificent carvings (like Belur, Halebid, Mahabalipuram...) The Hampi collection is a bit broken, I hate to report, quite a few of the small images don't load (the _ph.jpg ones) and in one case neither the small nor large _fs.jpg images were there (Statue at Pattabhirama temple)... it would be great if you could fix this!! I hope you continue to enjoy your travels - and post your pictures -- all the best!

Interesting and attractive, so attractive that I wonder why my eyes are drawn by this strange, marvelous and unbelievable style of architecture. Is it the loneliness of the life these buildings with their intricate carvings lead among deserted areas? Is it because, though lovely, they've been abandoned? No sure answer, but I really enjoyed the visit. My favorites among the photos are Nos.6/27/34/45/54. Please, convey to Jacques and Pierre my message that they should not overdo it in the hot weather. I hope you'll have some pleasant time together, the three of you. Greetings from Japan, Gabriela

Wann warst Du in Berlin/Potsdam? Vielleicht klappt mein nächster Besuch in Indien 2005. Hoffe, von Dir noch mehr zu sehen. Danke fürs "Mitgucken&q uot;! Liebe Grüße MARY

Hello Suresh! How nice this is to meet a new friend from India. And also how nice it is to have visited this impressive heritage site. Really thank you very much for showing to me such a great ancient city. I can imagine that there were surely lots of people gathering around, doing all sorts of trading business. This is truly a prosperous trade centre. I can also imagine the city must be very beautiful in the heyday. I'm saying the truth, I have really thought of visiting India. Visit to those heritage desitinations, other than simply Taj Mahal. I know India has also done very good in tiger reserve. Really appreciate for your showing to us this remarkable place. And truly thank you very for your nice visit to my album. Cheers! C.S. from Hong Kong

Hi Suresh!! This album brought back my school days when we read about the great kingdom of Vijayanagar in the South. I have always dreamed of trvelling on the Nilgri Line railway (being an ex railroader)and visiting the great temples in Mysore. The list is getting to be longer - now I have Hampi on it!! The Lotus Mahal looks as if some divine hand was involved in it's building! It's beauuuuuutiful!! I appreciate beautiful architecture. And why not? - was born in Agra, the city of the Taj! Regards & God Bless. Samad from Pakistan

Hi Suresh!! Thank you so much for your kind comments! I've gotten in alot of trouble for calling that a weed....LOL. I was riding along on my bike one day and saw it growing all tangled up in an unihabited area with a bunch of other weeds. At the time, I didn't know what it was, but I thought it was so spectacular and amazing I stopped and took it's picture. Then I dubbed it a weed...since it seemed to be growing without provocation. :o)b I've have been straightened out now!! Thank you very much!!! :o)b I was actually just thinking about you a little earlier tonite. I was thinking if you had MSN messenger we could chat. That would be fun! write me at buttonstheclown8@yahoo.co m OK?

Hi Suresh! Thanks for your nice message in my guestbook! Zanzibar is a place I got addicted to, the reasons are obvious. I was amazed to find this album about Hampi in your collection. That was one of the places that impressed me most in India. Hardly any tourists make it there but there is so much to see! And it is so peaceful. It's well worth spending a night in a bus ;-) I wanted to go to Kodaikanal but when I was there the train wasn't running. Thanks for giving me a chance to have a glimpse of it now. Your flower albums are wonderful too. My India collection is here http://community.webshots.com/user/karin_from_zurich2 some other pictures http://community.webshots.com/album/53150667UznCNb.
