I am glad to have found these, I was born in Brandon in 1965 and left @ age 2. I really want to know more about where I was born, my mother past when I was 12 and my Father is very distant. Thank you for sharing!!!

I used to live in Brandon way back in 1956 for one year before we came to Canada to start a new life. My Father used to work for a local Butcher who had a shop in Lakenheath were my Father worked. It is nice to see the old place again. Thanks for the photos. I put you in my favourites!!

Hi! I lived in the Brandon Park Guest House in the 1960s when my mother managed the facility for the RAF Lakenheath Officer's Club. Say 'hello' to Richard and 'Boggy' if they are still around! Richard worked at a clothing mill there in town, and Boggy was a chef at the Guest House. Oh, yes, there was my old friend, the late Mr. Fred Langston, who used to share his WWII stories -- especially when he was with Monty fighting the Nazis in Africa! Great stuff! Well, this you friend, the 'Yank' in Wisconsin, USA, saying, 'cheerio!' to all. If you got any info on the old Guest House, please let me know: michaelsteuck@sbcglobal.n et I'll email or write back!

I have traced some of my family from Canada back to Brandon, Suffolk and very much appreciate seeing photos of the town. And what a pretty place it is. Thank you!

It was great to see the pictures of Brandon. We lived in Brandon while we were stationed at RAF Lakenheath in the US Air Force. We have great memories of living in Brandon. The 6 years we lived in England were the best times of our lives. We miss England very much!!!

i was born in Brandon, and have lived here all of my life. i found it quite amazing that someone actually took the time to take photos and make a website. this would have come in very handy for school projects, but alas!

Visited family in Brandon about a year ago, and it is good to see some pics from the lovely little town. Good to see brandons on the net so everyone can enjoy.

Just revisited the Brandon photos. Lovely shot of the river. Captured the essence of townspeople who linger on the bridge.

I love your page, I have sent it to my friends. I grew up in Brandon and am now living in the States. I miss Brandon very much, and can't wait until I can get home again. Family and friends are still very much a part of it :)

I lived off London Road when my ex-husband was in the Air Force. I loved England and this has been a wonderful stroll down memory lane, also a chance to show my children places they don't really remember. Thanks!

Wonderful memories. I lived on the London Road many years ago. It is nice to know some things stay as they were in the high-tech change everything age. Thank you very much.
