Sorry, my message was in response to Aukland morning traffic...have been to Aukland and found it a charming city as is your lovely country. I have travelled the world but there are few comparisons to New Zealand...countryside as green as Ireland and beautiful people too. I hope to visit there again sometime.

What a breeze! I live in Sydney Australia with nearly 6 million people in the Sydney Region and it takes me about 1hr 30mins (sometimes 2hrs+) to get to work. Our freeways may have more lanes but they don't move and you pay dearly for the pleasure - $2.50 on M2 then $2.00 on harbour tunnel thats just to get to work then home $3.00 on Eastern Distributor tunnel (Harbour Tunnel free going North) and $2.50 on M2 (thats $10.00 a day). In North Sydney there is over 15 lanes each way but you still spend more time stopped than moving. Aukland is looking good!!!Very jealous Sydneysider......
