  • Bill, Love this album, always have been fascinated by the architecture of castles, though I haven't been fortunate enough to visit any of this class...yet! Thanks for sharing these amazing shots, hopefully someday I'll see these firsthand, til then I'll live vicariously through those that have had opportunities like these!

  • Bill,Great castle shots. I'm an enthusiast myself. I grew up in Nurnberg, W.Germany, where my family and I made regular trips to see the castle there in the old city. I guess that's where I got my love from. I'm still photographing Barns, especially now that I live in Lancaster county PA. Keep up the good work, Bill!! Mike

  • Great album of three castles! Hearst Castle is fabulous & we've been there twice. Neuschwanstein Castle is our next destination & we plan to visit it this fall. Your photos make me want to see it even more. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my featured album today.

  • Hi Bill, As usual you put your best work forward-been tripping around the countryside? Bavarian castles, San Simeon, both beauties in different portions of the world, all had the same idea, make it beautiful and big!! You've a good eye for old buildings. More! More! Thanks for visiting my albums and leaving a note in my guest books. Most appreciated. Best regards and greetings from an Oregon Coastal city. Ron

  • Hello there Bill. I am finally here to thank you for taking the time to stop by the day of my feature and for the most generous comments you left me in my guestbook regarding Warwick Castle. I am honoured by your complments. Now it is my turn to tell you how much I have enjoyed your photos. I love castles and I see that you have visited Neuschwanstein in Bavaria. I am soooo envious as I would love to see this castle up close. The design is so fairytalish, if there is such a word. Maybe one day I may be lucky enough to make the trip. Been studying the Victorians in school with 6year olds. Fascinating era. We've come a long way since then...... Take care. Fondest wishes, Jayne/West Midlands, UK :) xx

  • Hello, Bill!! I decided to stop by and see what ya have in your photos. Loved the castles and lighthouses-my favorite things. I liked how you got the mountains tiered in the background of the 1st Neuchanstein castle. Interesting. Thanks for sharing!!

  • Hi Bill, first thanks for you super comments. Where does heyburn come from, last name? An architect. My husband studied that but unfortunately never used it. Thanks for your comments about my art and photos. I really love them! You photos are interesting too, I found that lobster pot photo in another album really super. Thanks for the vacation here! Have a great weekend.
