Hello, Your Northern Sampler album is outstanding! A sampler indeed to include Fringed Polygala, butterflies and then costal scenes. It is hard to choose a favorite but I am partial to sunsets and wildflowers. Your photography is great - you must have quite the camera. The vibrant colors in the fall scenes are also excellent. Fantastic !!! I admire the dedication it takes to get up early enough to capture a sunrise or to brave the cold of winter to get those special shots while everyone else you know is inside sipping their coffee. You showed me Pictured Rocks Nat'l Lakeshore and Tahquamenen Falls in ways we did *not* see them - up close and personal. Hello John, I decided to visit your page again to what was new. The added pics in this album are beautiful but it was well worth the time to view the entire album again. Your new winter photos are really great, the tundra swans was for sure a spectacular sight. ALL of the misty frozen shots of Au Sable River were gorgeous and the icicles over Tawas Bay (#81) was breathtaking. I'm sorry, I feel like I am sounding so redundant, but there is just something about almost every one of your photos that I feel compelled to elaborate on. Really beautiful album John. I don't know how I missed it when featured in the past, especially since I have a big Michigan interest too. You might want to check out my sunrises at Bear Lake too. The nice thing about MI is that it is so far west in the eastern time zone that sunrise is not that early in the morning, and you show it so well in your photos. Thanks for sharing. Mike

How could any person not look around them and see all the awesome beauty around them? Some of Gods greatest gift are teaching my grandchildren to see it through my eyes and teachings. I am always in awe of natures beauty. My husband I travel frequently and enjoy seeing our beautiful state. He enjoys driving and helps me edit to WS. Thanks so much for posting your pictures of Michigan. I lived there while growing up and went to college in the UP and seeing your shots of the thumb area was wonderful. I now live in NM and don't get back to MI very often. Thank you for the memories and photo trip back home.
