Album Description:
This extraordinary Neo-Manuelin hotel , set in a luxuriant forest, was built as a hunting lodge for the last Portuguese kings. Part ancient woodlands, part arboretum - a magic place. As early as the 6th century it was a monastic retreat.

Ciao Antti and thanks for your to kind and expert compliments at my last album! If you really like so much my shot 'Sea Picture' I will dedicate it at you; it will be a real pleasure for me.... so if you like this idea give me a yes! About this album... it's again a pleasure visit with your eyes Portugal and our restaurant and hotel. I know that's very expensive, but my and my BIG family will appreciate your generosity!!! ah ah ah ah Antti are you ok ? I joke naturally! However it's ever a gift look at your azuleijos and hidden cornes of monuments. I Like your example in shot 14 and 15, but mainly shots 20,22,31,44 and the modern art in 57. In my old opinion Portugal was only Lisboe, but now it's growing every day under my eyes. I hope that in future.... (but not in a expensive hotel !!) CIAO !! Ruggero

WOW! Next time I must go inside! I never thought it was so beautiful. That library... Your album is much better than mine. I didn't even photographed those beautiful azulejos. So I have downloaded it now, to see it running on my screen once a while. Next time I'll go there I'll go alone and with all the time for taking all the photos I want. Thank you so much for this nice tour. You're great! Have a wonderful weekend, Rosa

Have you, already, visited Quinta da Regaleira, em Sintra? The responsible for the project is the same architect, Luigi Manini, and it is a wonderful place! But you must know it already :) Take care! Rosa

Antti - I'm back from my travels to the East Coast of the US and find that you have been very busy. These are some of your finest to date. The lighting in your captures are superb and truly give the emotion to your work. These are truly romantic settings that you have given such a wonderful artistic style in this media. You are an inspiration. I hope you had a great weekend. My best wishes, Stan
