Ice Sculpture - incredibly beautiful! The leaden color of the water in other shots makes it look as if it is more of a cold gel than a liquid. The only reason I can see for going to such a cold place is 'because it is there' - and to take photographs such as yours. Charlotte in Texas & New Mexico

Hello Andrew, I have looked at all your Antarctic albums & love them all. Congratulations on hving this one chosen as a feature today. I was down there in the 1950's (have album with a few poor quality BW photos). Have been trying to get back for several years but wife will not go & cannot justify the cost to go on my own! Looked also at the Ushuaia album as we did make it there on a cruise round SA. For my view of some icebergs again we had to cruise to Greenland & that was worth the experience. Have made a note to come back & view your photos again whenever I need an Antarctic "fix". Eric
