Album Description:

No architecture is more interesting than the Victorian homes with their jigs and jogs and embellishments. It is gratifying to me to see the younger generation buying, refurbishing and painting these old structures in their myriad colors of yesteryear.

  • Hi Linda: Very nice album and photography. I really enjoyed viewing the old Victorian Homes. They are beautiful. I agree about the restoration efforts. It is nice. Around here, the old homes just "rot" away. It is sad, because you can tell, at one time, they were really nice. Keep up the good work. Jerry

  • I really do love the Victorian style. All the intriguing details, especially shots 12, 13, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 34. Fascinating! Keith

  • Hello Linda, I too love Victorian homes and your photos of them are beautiful! Each one is so unique and lovely. I wanted to thank you for your very kind comments in my Winter Macros album. It is snowing here in Michigan too and it is only 12 degrees above 0 right now. Talk about Christmas weather! Have a great day! Candi

  • Linda, I just had to come back and check out this album again. I hope you keep adding more of these beautiful photographs. What is striking to me is that, with these victorian houses, no two are exactly alike. They are truly whimsical and unique. As an architect, I greatly appreciate the extremely fine carpentry. It is hard for me to believe that this woodwork was performed with much simpler tools than we have today. Until later, Bill Cable (heyburn 3)
