I have always loved your photos. It's like taking a vacation to view them. Would it be possible to be added as a friend. I would like to use some of your Hawaiian pics for an album for my husband. We were there in 2005 but due to a computer crash... I lost most of our pictures. I would be so grateful... Karen And thank you again for allowing us to share your vacations... it's been great.

Thanks for your comment to my Oahu album. The old (1961) photo you are referring to, was indeed taken by me (with a cheap camera), when I was a young soldier on our stopover going to Korea. I am glad I took that picture - to preserve how that part of the island was then, and compare it to how it is now, and with that in mind, I was eager to find the approximate spot from which that shot was taken.
