Hi Suresh, even though I know quite a few Cypriots, I've never seen so many interesting photos of the island. Thank you for filling a gap in my experience with these excellent photos. Besy wishes from Keith.

Dear Suresh, I have very much enjoyed viewing this album again. It completes the experience of visiting Cyprus, seeing the island from your point of view in this wonderful album. Thank you so much for your kind and warm words on my album. And especially for inventing a new word - Orlyean :-). I'm very flattered! I understand that today the border in Cyprus is becoming more and more open. These are of course good news. By the way, Fotki has now introduced email notices... a year and a half after they promised it. Well, that's something too. I hope you and yours are OK. Very best wishes, Orly

Hallo Suresh, I have just enjoyed my journey through your most interesting Cyprus album. It is a great album with all your excellent photos. They have brought back to me happy memories - of Paphos, Nicosia, the Troodos Mountains and lots of famous sights and places. I have been there many many years ago, when it was still impossible to enter the northern (Turkish) part. You are right: it is a country of very rich history. Besides, I have just created two new albums. Maybe you would like to have a look? Would be great to see you! With friendly regards, Erika

Suresh, It is my goal to visit all of your albums by Christmas. This photographic trip to Cyprus was an absolutely amazing experience for me. The historical significance of this island is interesting. Your album showcases the varied aspects of the area - from relgious, historic, the sea, current homes and people. Everything all wrapped up in your amazing photography for us to enjoy. You are very gifted and you share that gift with us at WS. Thank you and Best wishes, Carol

Hello Suresh:...Thank You so much for the wonderful visit back to The Island of Cyprus. I spent three, 6 month tours of duty on the Island with the Un in 1965, 1970, & 1980 and fell in love with the Island and it's people. In 1980 I was able to spend two week on leave and visit. I spent Most of my time in Paphos & The Troodos Mountains. I attended a evening performance of the Royal Green Jackets Band in Odeon of Paphos. What a grand setting with the Mediterranean Sea as a back drop. Thank You for the chance to see all this once more as a camera was not a big part of my life in those days. Your album has taken me back to a wonderful time in my life....Thank You... Grizzly Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada

Hi Sureh! Wow, you were having a great tour. It's such a lovely album. Frankly, I didn't know Cyprus was so rich in history. Some great pictures of nature and monuments here, but the picturesque little alleys are not less enjoyable. Wonderful atmosphere well captured. Best wishes, and I hope that next time when you travel so near, you will drop for a visit! Regards, Orly

Hi Suresh. I'm glad you informed me that your email was blocked. It certainly was not my intention as you are among the best in Webshots. I was resetting my options, and sometimes we inadvertently mess one thing while trying to fix another. I'm not all that sure if I got it properly fixed. In any case, you are listed in my favorites so that I would eventually catch with you. I do enjoy traveling with you, and very much enjoyed your impressions of Cyprus through the streets and alleys and even the windows and doors! If I were forced to choose only one town to visit, it would have to be Lania. It seems so quaint and yet very impressive; probably because the white buildings bring out the colorful trimwork as do the lovely plants and trees. I like your photo of the tower through the oranges. You also got some very impressive pictures of the icons and wall paintings; great detailing in your photography. It's almost horrific that the beautiful mosaic artwork was used as a floor!!! It's always nice to see the people who smile for your camera, like the little boy enjoying his cone in Lefkosia, which also brought a smile to me. Alas, another of our travels has come to and end, but the beautiful wisteria make for a gorgeous ending!!! Thank you --Nancy
