In March 2001 we spent 10 days in The People's Republic of China, a tour we called China Lite. It is impossible to learn everything. We learned a great deal. Pictures of our side trip to Xian to see the Terra Cotta Warriors is a separate collection.

A map show how China was partitioned by the strong powers from 1800 to 1949. This is what called democracy in USA.
