HI,what a thrill to find this website.. we lived in Gieb from 1963 to 1967.. had a great time and enjoyed making friends. we are hoping to visit again very soon. We rented from Herr Scheckenbach and was a frequent visitor to Rosies..the Kraus Bakery and local stores as well. thanks for all the pictures that bring many fond memories. I also have a Doxie "Lexi" :)

Gieb was home from 1970 to 72. Had some pretty good times there.Would love to be able to come back and visit,but since I can't right now, your pictures keep the thought going, Thank-you very much

Was completely dumbfounded as to how I got this album when logging on to Webshots. Was also extremely overwhelmed. I recognized the pics before I even knew what they were. You have brought back very fond memories and I'm deeply moved. Thank you so much . What a great collection. Couldn't have done better myself. My sincere thanks for remembering me. Any idea how to make the sauce for the Doner Kebap? I can fake the rest. :)

Love the photo's. We left Giebelstadt in Jan. 1974. We lived across the street from the school. I'm sure it has really changed over the years. Keep the great pics coming.
