Some more background on the shoot was that my father and I went to Vegas for 7 days. During the day we drove to each location then spent the evenings gambling. By the time we got to the Grand Canyon 7 hours later the sun was setting and it was raining so we got a room and caught sunrise the next morning. When we went to Bryce we thought we had more time and we arrived an hour before sunset, therefore only spending 1 hour at this spectacular place. Fortunately the sun was cooperating that evening.

They bring back memories of years ago when I was fortunate enough to visit most of these national parks. By the way, the plant in "Red Rock Cactus" is not a cactus, but a Yucca plant. You have a nice album here for a novice, especially since it was a featured album. My guess is that you developed your photography skills before you got your Canon Rebel. The photos here and your other albums of the Southwest make me want to go back there.
