Hi, It is a delight to be the first to write in the guestbook of this album, because it has brought back so many happy memories for me. When my children were young we had a mobile home holiday home on a holiday park at Winchelsea, a couple of miles outside Rye on the Hastings side. We often went to Rye, and I grew to love it. All the little back-ways, the lovely church, and, at the top of the road leading up to the church, on the right, a tea-shop called 'Simon the Pieman', where you could buy home-made fudge in many flavours. It was delicious! As I wandered through your lovely photos, lots of wonderful memories came flooding back, and I browsed through those pictures 5 or 6 times, just enjoying myself. I've taken three as screensavers, so that I can see them every day. All those beautiful old houses, and the pretty flowers, and the wonderful old 'Mermaid Inn' Thankyou, thankyou SO much for giving me so much pleasure, recounting things we did sixty years ago. ( and it hasn't changed a bit) Next time I'm off to Dungeness, another of our favourites. Thankyou for taking your camera to these lovely places, and making these pictures available for us all to see. Happy greetings from Buckinghamshire. God bless, Sheila.
