Album Description:
Since 2000 the EXPO had projects out of the EXPO site Hannover. This railway station, in the town, where I was born, was called the most beautiful project of the EXPO and is definitely the most beautiful railway station in Germany.

Hello Galit, Your album is very interesting and your photos excellent, as usual. It is good to find someone wants to be kind to our planet and at the same time build with beauty and not be afraid to be different. Quixote Winery in California is built with Hunterwasser architecture - I believe. It is beautiful. Thanks for the enjoyable time viewing this album. - Best regards, DeeAnne :)

Dear Galit, thank you very much for these wonderful photos which I discovered finally! I am a great fan of Hundertwasser and I often visit Hundertwasser Haus, Kunsthaus and District Heating Plant Spittelau! But the greatest thing is: I had a Hundertwasser original tableau hanging in my living room for six months! It was "Insel der Verlorenen Wuensche". Why that? There is a Pinakothek in Vienna, where you can rent original pictures and other art works against a little fee. It has been 25 years ago when I came there and they just got the Hundertwasser and I was lucky to rent it! I'll never forget the time when we lived with this tableau. If you want to see the wonderful picture: www.allposters.de. Another news: there is a big Hanukiah in the middle of Vienna now! A photo of it is in my recent Christmas album, if you want to see it. Happy Hanukka, Vera

Hi Galit! You have taken really beautiful photos of this railway station. This reminds me of some buildings I saw in Barcelona, there was also anothe architect besides Gaudí who had the same kind of style. I thought I already wrote here but I must have made a mess of it.. Thank you for sharing, I love architecture, it is the best art there is. Merike

Hi Galit, what a splendid architecture from Hundertwasser. Sometimes I see a little of Antonio Gaudi's craziness in it. Sorry for the long downloading time. you mach switch to DSL service for faster loading. Thank for your compliments on my feature album. I am not sure why Webshots selected my Mt. Sutorman album, since it is only preliminary, a small part of a larger photo reportage of my Balkan travels, and consists mostly of drive-by-photoshots. It is even minor to most of my other albums on my still small homepage http://community.webshots.com/user/kmebert. Anyway, should you like to see more of the upcoming albums, please, drop me an email, so I can directly send a viewing invitation. Cheers, Konrad at kmebe001@yahoo.com

Hi Galit, the design of this museum is interesting. Thank you for your message in my guestbook. My best place is Schloss Neuswanstein Castle in Germany, the view of the castle standing on the cliff is unforgettable. Also, Italian Cities, Prague, Budapest (especially its night view) and East German artitecture are my favorite. Mitz from Japan

Hello Galit, thanks very much for your birthday wishes to me. It’s much appreciated. Upon your invitation to look at your latest (rose) album, I came across this beautiful album about the railway station in Uelzen, Germany. And because I like the art of Hundertwasser very much (I have seen his projects in Vienna) I wanted to look through this album first, and I enjoyed it immensely. The pictures are great, and colourful and you gave a good impression of all the details. Thanks very much for sharing. I certainly will come back to your other albums when I have more time. Kind regards, Els (evanwely/wely246)

Hello Galit! What a beautiful collection of photos of the Uelzen Bahnhof. The very unusual architecture makes it an ineteresting subject. I also like the earthern colour of the building enhanced by the minaret like colourful columns. All in all a very different type of building. You have done an extraordinary job in capturing the essence of it all. If you have time stop by my albums, especially my Burma album. I am very inetersted in photographing people. They are the soul of any region. Greetings, Suresh

Hi again Galit, beautiful album. I would love to see more pictures from your journey. I want to respond to what you said about taking pictures of strangers: It is often porblematic, but I don't think you should be afraid of taking people's pictures after they agreed. It's quite surprising, but most people are happy to have their pictures taken. Some people make very good subjects even when they are aware of the camera (but of course, some are not). It's more a problem when you want to take people's picture when they don't notice. Even then, in all the cases when I showed people their photo in the camera's screen, they always agreed for publication. It's not always possible to get confirmation from anyone who appears on photos. There could be some dilemmas, but I think it's not hard to maintain reasonable ethics. I mean ethics which are much stricter than those used in our news. Anyway, it's often hard to take pictures of people but I think it's very rewarding. After you start with it, it becomes easier. Best, Orly
