Hello Amy and I want to tell you how much I have enjoyed this album. Like most people I had no idea what Bahrain was like and this has opened my eyes. It looks to be a clean and vibrant city with a good mix of old and new, although I expect the old timers would complain about all those skyscrapers etc. One question - what is a HOOKAH that one smokes? LOL Many thanks for writing in my guest books once again. I am rather surprised you didn't get to Kalbarri, especially as you visited Monkey Mia. If you drove there then you would have passed the turn off to Kal. We visited Monkey Mia a few years ago but most of what I took there was video. I regret that now! Catch you again. Hugs, Peter

Hello Ami, you are a little devil, found you in Bahrain. You have managed to make it interesting by your choice of subjects, not a lot of green there from my memories of the place. URG!!!!. No wonder you have time to look at several of my albums all together. No work and to hot most of the time to go out. I don't envy you being there. You see I am a nosey so and so found these details in one of Jaynes Album GB. I'm not touting for viewings but if you liked Jaynes views of England have a look at mine "In Englands Green and pleasant land" A line of Charles Parry's "Jerusalem" so from this nosey old codger Good Luck in Bahrain Ha Ha Ken

Haven't had a chance to look at them all yet, but as I spent a number of years in the Middle East, (principally Abu Dhabi), am most interested in Bahraini pics!! My next project will be Abu Dhabi album, you inspired me! Sheina in Argentina PS: I'm also exceedingly fond of elephants!!

Hello Amy, wonderful pictures, I cannot wait to see more of it. Like the Dhow pictures very much, as well as the “old versus new”pictures, and the ones of the 16th century ford. It is quite another world. Thanks for your reaction on the Iceland albums. It really is an amazing country, worthwile a visit. Lots of beautiful waterfalls and the lava shapes and colours are awesome, and then all those amazing large glaciers. When you have a 4wheeldrive you can explore more of the inland. Have a nice weekend, Els

Hi, I picked up your link at Mick's site and am surely glad that I did. This album drew me in, because my step-daughter is in the navy stationed in Bahrain. I have never seen photos of it before, so Thank You for showing me around. I will come back and view the other one. Sharon from Minnesota

This is an interesting album, indeed. I've been at Bahrain airport twice (for an hour lay-over) and was always intrigued at how the outside looked like. Thank you for sharing this intriguing, exotic place. How's the weather up there? We're currently in a baking temperature right now. princess (california)
