  • trinetteberger, the photo of the Bitterroot fire is not mine. It is a famous picture that was taken by John McColgan, an employee of the US Forestry Service, while he was fighting the fire. I don't know if the photo is available for sale anywhere. You might try an Internet search to find out if poster-sized copies are available anywhere.

  • The picture of the fire in Montana is unbelievable. Would I be able to purchase a poster size print of this? It would be the perfect gift for my boss who has a ranch in Stevensville. Thanks for your help.

  • Actually, I think that was said about Highway 50 across Nevada. Of course they could have updated their thinking. The scenery is a lot better though.

  • THIS IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL ALBUM !!!! I enjoyed watching every picure! Most certainly one cannot find such hugeness here in Japan, not even in the northern island of Hokkaido. Your shots brought back pleasant memories from my trip to Canada in 1988. Thanks for THIS trip! Gabriela

  • Steph, the Bitterroot fire picture is not mine. It was taken by John McColgan of the US Forestry Service, while he was fighting the fire. I has shown up in quite a few albums on Webshots without proper credit given to John McColgan. The 'after' picture, taken from approximately the same spot a year later, for comparison, is mine, though.

  • The Bitterroot fire picture is fantastic. I have always been amazed by many photos I've found at Webshots, but yours is the only one I've ever voted for! I may order a print! Great pictures, all in all!
