What a great album. Your photo's make me want to visit Poland again. My last visit was in 1970. My Grandfather's family come from Skrzyszow, Tarnow, and My Grandmother is near Rzeszow. I just had a cousin from Tarnow visiting me here in Valparaiso, IN this past weekend. Great pictures!

my mother was a war bride in 1947. she was born in 1925 in Lassintin,Poland which is now know as Lasin, Kujawsko-Pomorskie. If anyone has pictures from there we would love to see them... she will be 80 this month. we live in valparaiso, Indiana

Hello, I just came across yuor pictures from your trip to Poland. I was born and grew up near Pilzno. Seeing pictures you posted brought many pleasant memories.... Five years ago I had a chance to spent a night at Nidzica Castle. Yes they do rent the rooms. What an experience it was?? It's a beautiful country and you should be praised for capturing it's beauty. I found my roots in Pilzno in 1999. I met a 5th cousin thru the internet with whom I travelled to Pilzno. He hosted my stay and was a very gracious and talented guide since he was from there. He introduced me to my relatives I didn't even know I had. My family is published in 2 books on facts about the Pilzno cemetery and the People of Pilzno. Your album has brought back many good memories.

Hi Marge, EXCELLENT album! I thoroughly enjoyed all of your pictures, many are very compelling. I just posted several pictures from my own recent trip to Poland. My ancestral villages are just to the east of yours (Kozlowek, Frystak, Piatkowa near Blazowa) and Olyszny is I think a bit west. We drove through Pilzno on the to and from Krakow. Well done!
