In fact this Arch de Triumph was originally builded very long time ago, I think it was established when Laos once was colonized by the Franch. It original names was Anousavary. You got the wrong word from Communist propaganda agent. Here is your own word that I copy to you just in case you and I are not in the same picture. " When the Americans abondoned Laos after the Vietnam America war they left enough cement to build a new runway in Vientianne. The Pathet Laos decided it would be better used to build their own Arch de Triumph. Hi Steve. I've looked through a few of your albums, in particular the travel ones. It seems we've travelled the same roads through South America and Asia. Your photos have captured the places and people so well.
