Very interesting album! It is an album which taught me many things and the photos are absolutely magnificent. I liked that many were so spontaneous, especially the novice and the statue, and several others. Thank you for this beautiful photographic experience.

Thank you! Thank you! My sister adopted twins from Vietnam, and is planning on their third daughter to come from Laos. You've shared some wonderful photos, and have helped me to see the beauty of their lands. It helps to make the connection even before Carolyn and Shannon add a little sister to their play room.

Hello, thank you for the great pictures of Laos. I have been wanting to go back and visit. I was born in Laos but basically raised in the US. These pictures just brings back a lot of memories. Thank you again!

Dear Steve: I just stop by and I saw you got a misleading information. In fact this Arch de Triumph was originally builded very long time ago, I think it was established when Laos once was colonized by the Franch. It original names was Anousavary. You got the wrong word from Communist propaganda agent. Here is your own word that I copy to you just in case you and I are not in the same picture. " When the Americans abondoned Laos after the Vietnam America war they left enough cement to build a new runway in Vientianne. The Pathet Laos decided it would be better used to build their own Arch de Triumph. " If you have any question, please feel free to contact me at me_nyuam_hmoob@yahoo.com, I will be glad to lead you to the source who know all of this fact. Thanks Best restpect Me nyuam Hmoob

Hi Steve. I've looked through a few of your albums, in particular the travel ones. It seems we've travelled the same roads through South America and Asia. Your photos have captured the places and people so well. I will be going to India later in the year and if your other albums are anything to go by, I'm sure your photos have captured it just as beautifully. Come visit my albums sometime ... would love to hear what you think of them. Cheers, Sharon, Brisbane Australia

Hi! I'm so happy I found your site! Amazing pictures.. The photos of the Thaipeople, it's like I can see their soul in their eyes.. Wonderful! I see joy in the childrens smiles, and may be worries in some of the grown ups.. Really beautiful pictures! I've been to Thailand myself some years ago, what a great people! Well, after looking through some of your albums I think I have to make you one of my favorites! Wish you all the best, Hildegunn, Norway

Stunning stuff, Steve! Especially enjoyed Thailand and Laos having visited Thailand and lived in Laos for a year and a half in 1967-68. Your photographs capture the spirit of both countries; can't wait to tell my friends about your album. Thank you for sharing. I am so homesick for LAOS! Fe
