HI Ale...I am in Sydney and holiday is over, and the brushes are out and started painting today. I shall probably be here for a little under 2 months then back on the road so tks for the lovely words. This album is wonderful! Edinburgh Castle in the mist is beautiful (photo 4) althought they are all georgeous but I love the allure of this photo. Scots monument is a great shot!! Tantallon Castle with the horses is just beautiful...WOW!! I must have been away when this was Featured and a very belated Congratulations for this absolutely stunning album of Scotland. What a wonderful view and so beautifully portrayed through you eyes with that mystical allure set against a mighty background!! Love Bruce's Stone and that is just an absolutely magical shot!! Dunnotter Castle is a great shot and I love Elgin...fab arches and great shot!! It is easy to see why this was a Feature. You did a wonderful job of capturing the beauty of the land!! The thistle at the end is another fabulous shot. I love it and I soo remember seeing them not long ago out on some farmland. Ale, the Edinburgh castle shots are great particularly the night one - quite stunning. I also liked a lot the Hearth of the Lothians and the Scot's Monument as well as Bruce's Stone and Stirling Castle - lots of atmosphere and great colors. Nice featured album, Ale, wonderful pictures...like the night/day photos of Edinburgh-had no idea the castle and grounds were this large. Tantallon Castle and Melrose Abbey are captivating, so downloaded both. It appears that Tantallon is being worked on-why now, it appears the walls are about to disappear? Thank you for the show. Beautiful photos - I am very impressed. To answer your question on my Scotland album about addressing the Haggis. Everyone stands as the main course is brought in. This is always a haggis on a large dish. It is brought in by the cook, generally while a piper plays bagpipes and leads the way to the host's table, where the haggis is laid down. The host, or in our case, the piper, then recites the Address To a Haggis by Robert Burns. At the line &quot;His knife see rustic Labour dicht&quot;, the speaker will normally raise a knife, sharpening it menacingly, and at the line &quot;An' cut you up wi' ready slicht&quot;, plunges it into the haggis and cuts it open from end to end. When done properly this &quot;ceremony&qu ot; is a highlight of the evening. And it was the highlight. Thanks for looking at my photos. carol
