Hi Judge! Thank you so much for the great comments on my album "A Fall Walk in the Park" album. I live in Columbus and often visit Blacklick Woods which is in Reynoldsburg. I have enjoyed your photos too. The "cowboy" ; experience is so far removed from the life I live in the city. I especially loved the "Morning Ride" photo - the silhouette of the riders getting ready for an early morning ride. I want to go back to German Village to get some fall shots very soon. Thanks again! Hello Again Judge - Finally had the chance to do a slideshow on your album, "The Other Florida That Tourists Never See". It was a great story with wonderful photos. I didn't realize that this way of life existed any longer - except for maybe in the western states, certainly not in Florida. I really appreciate your narrative - I would have wondered what happened to that wild bull! Thanks for sharing. Connie in Ohio

Hi thre Judge!!! Firstly tks for your comments in Save the Trees album and you are right about the distance thing...and yet...how assimilar soo much is!! I have no doubt you are a fair dinkum 'cowboy'...and would just blend into this country beautifully! I viewed a number of your albums and loved all the beautiful horses and the great scenery! When I saw all the horses, I thought..hmm...this is definitely a horseman!! I would have loved to have ridden in the ride across Florida with the wagons!! Would have been excellent! I relate to a lot of what is in your photos as I was born in the country and raised in farmland amongst horses and animals...and get up with the 'crows' everyday myself!! the kids don't...man I don't know how these young ones can sleep soo long!! No wonder the world has turned to casual and shiftwork for the young ones!! A really great album...and a vista of scenery and a fabulous story of a life soo full of action!! Keep on 'ridin' Judge....and tks for sharing this side of Florida...and have a really great day....Kind regards to all...Em from Aussie

Hi Judge, I visited every one of your albums last night and this morning and enjoyed my time in your colorful and informative world. I feel like I know Florida landscape and history better than I ever have before. I will share your albums with former school chums who live there now and know they will enjoy it also along with my horse lover friends here who will appreciate the difference, yet similarities in lifestyle. thanks for sharing and for visiting my own meager gallery, Kenny D aka fuzzybydesign

Howdy! Nice to see some well-crafted images of the "real Florida." Re: the Florida Mtns of New Mexico - these are pronounced Flor-EE-da, and the term is actually a Spanish one. It means "flowery.&qu ot; After a winter of ample rains, this desert range becomes awash in springtime wildflowers. Of course, it ain't green like the real Florida, but then what is? Cheers!

Hi Judge, What a delightful and informative album. I loved the awesome photos of South Florida's cow country. I lived in Clearwater and worked for the Tampa Tribune in the 70"s. With the family we took many trips to Floridas lower west coast and inland to some of the areas your photos depict,so I know how beautiful that area still is. It is encouraging to be reminded that parts of our state will most likely remain in a pristine state for some time to come. It's not that I'm opposed to "progress&qu ot;, it is just that when visiting Lake County and the Central Florida region it is a let down to see row upon row of row houses where row upon row of orange trees and cattle ranches once stood. Judge I loved the people shots and the great horse and beef cattle, wild and otherwise images. I was never aware of the Cracker Horse Breed until now....I'm going thru all your great albums and loving everyone....Thanks for the kind words in my guest book and thanks for sharing your part of Florida and it's rich history......I was in Central Florida over the New Years weekend and took a few pictures, some in Tavares. If you would like to visit our old home town look for my latest album.....again thanks for sharing.............Gene

This is one FANTASTIC album, Nelson; "The Other Florida," that most of us don't see, even if we live here in the same state! I don't think people realize the size of the state. We're six hours north of you and more like eight from Pensacola. ... Thank you for sharing some backcountry experiences and beauty and your beautiful horses too! ... Judy aka L@dybug

Good Day Judgestoryteller, well after viewing this album I can certainly see why your username is Judgestoryteller. What a fascinating album, I stopped for a brief peek and spent a long enjoyable time. Never on webshots have I encountered such an interesting album. Being from Canada, I never associated the cow hunting's rich history with Florida. Judy (ladybug) directed me to this captivating album and I am truly glad she did. You are a marvellous storyteller as well as photographer. Thank you for sharing this history. Enjoy your day...Leslie~Canada

Hello Judge, Judy is bragging about you, and with good reason. Thank you, Judy, for letting me find Judgestoryteller's work. This is indeed an "other Florida". It's one I would not have recognized as Florida. Or this century, for that matter. I learned a lot from this album. I learned about another Florida that I was unaware of. I also learned that pineapple's bloom. Flowers on a pineapple, I was amazed. You photos are "storytelling" and very well executed I might add. This is a great album and I'm sure you have more where this came from. I'll be back to look. Keep up this work, it's historic and shows an aspect of life we don't see much anymore. Thank you Judge. Alan (Connecticut, USA)
