Great colors in those mountains Fred, and you capture it so well. I also had heard about how acid rain and diseases are killing off the high elevation hemlocks and was sad to see so many dead ones showing up among the colored leaves. Your photos still show the beauty of the Smokies, but I'll bet it would have been even more spectacular with green on all those dead trees. Thanks for sharing. Mike
