Bonjour Bernard. Je suis d'origine de Martinvelle, et quelle ne fut pas ma surprise que de voir une photo de la maison que je viens d'acheter (old houses)! Merci pour ce sympathique reportage. Pouvez-vous me contacter par email? Sincères salutations. Bertrand bertrand.moquin1@libertys urf.fr

Hello Bertrand, I am Sydney in the USA. I had the old pictures, Bernard took the new ones. He lives in Brussels. I have written him and sent him your message. I translated some of it to mean that I have a picture of your home in Martinvelle. How exciting!! What a lovely place it is. I hope Bernard will write you soon. I do not speak the language as well as he does. <Grin> Sydney

Hi Sydney and Bertrand : to see the location of Martinvelle copy/paste this : http://www.viamichelin.com/viamichelin/fra/dyn/controller/ambiguousTest;jsessionid=M0IGKNZCBENQVTWTHNL4S2I?act=MapHomeVersMapDisplay&strCity=martinvelle&strCountry=EUR&strAddress=&intMapScale=0 A little bit long , but a good mouse can manage that easy . The reproduction of the link is authorised by www.viamichelin.com , but unfortunally not the reproduction of the 'area' spotted . Bonne journée à tous ! BBB, Bernard, Brussels,Belgium

I am very happy about these pictures. I have a house in Martinvelle "La barriere" on the road to La Grande Catherine. It used to be a railway's house, and I am lookin desperately for pictures about the railway and the house from "good old times"

To astabla: They are great pictures, I think. There is someone who has a lot more. Go to Bertrand's site, and you will see a lot of Martinvelle. http://community.webshots.com/user/bmoquin1
