  • Hello Ken, I 1st commented on this album in Feb 27, 2005 and came back to it now because of your comment on "Dinosaurland" (thank you very much). Where you said you & Liz (photo #5) went through Flaming Gorge and Vernal, Utah but didn’t see the dinosaur exhibits. Your photos of the dam and surrounding area are superb. I’m especially happy with the Diplodocus skeleton which I cut & pasted on the Southwest map (1st photo in Dinosaurland) that shows the path of our whole trip. I had to lie down on the 2nd floor of the museum to get the whole animal (down in the lobby) into the viewfinder – the critter is so huge (90 feet) that it stands on the 1st floor and extends up a hole onto the 2nd. Thank you also for your “thrilling” response to our "Albuquerque Sunsets - Featured 12/13/2005" album. I wish you a tripod and a very Merry Christmas. Ed&Helen/Albuquerque

  • Hello again Ken. Lovely to hear from you so soon. So nice of you to drop by, seeing how very busy you must be today with your featured album. So pleased you enjoyed my pics. The shot you refered to, I did ask the lady before hand if she objected to me taking the photo. 'Not is the least' was her reply. I think the scene sums up canal life on a barge, very laid back and carefree. Sometimes we travel miles to go on holidays, but sometimes beauty is on our very own doorstep. Ken, this album of yours is wonderful. The scenery took my breath away and your photos are outstanding. The one that stands out for me is #26 'Jenny Lake - Wyoming'. This is a place I have to visit one day. Hope to hear from you again sometime, eh! Enjoy the rest of your day in the 'spotlight', you deserve it. Cheers, Jayne #####

  • Hello Ken, Again you have reminded me of one of our wonderful trips to your beautiful Country. Your pictures has reminded me just how clear and clean the air is in those mountains. We stayed at Idaho Falls, then drove into Yellowstone then down through the Tetrons through Jackson Hole to Monterey before going onto Salt Lake City in 1994. Your superb Pictures has just made me want to come back and spend much more time in the area.As with the little steam engine on Mt Washington I have just put a picture of a bison and calf from Yellowstone. obviously a scanned one (Oh to have had a digital then). thanks again for sharing your pictures to provide those wonderful memories, Ken from the flat Fens of England.

  • Hi Ken, thankyou for your kind message on my featured treescapes album. I love this album, we spent 3 weeks last fall touring CO & UT & the amazing thing is we only saw one thing that you have in your photos. America is a big place with lots to see, doing Nevada this year but have yellowstone/tetons on the list to do. Eric
