Here we have again a wonder of "Ruggero photography , art and history, a walk through this gorgeous Catalunia. # 14, 18 50, 51, 61 , 64, 72 incredible I love them all and it is really so difficult to choose. CIAO RUGGERO!!! It's GREAT to have you back, and your photos too!!! I agree with Caterina. Your photos are a true wonder, and this album is really stunning. It's amazing that you have managed to take so many pictures during your short vacation in Spain, and the quantity does not come instead of quality!! I appreciate the work that you have put in selecting the best of the best, editing and writing in creating this excellent album. Really all the photos are fantastic, which shows in the themes you choose and the outstanding colors, compositions and framing. It's hard for me to choose any favorites, but there are plenty of superb shots here: From impressive old architecture to lovely windows and streetlamps; From pastoral fields (#4 looks just like a wonderful painting) to dramatic volcanic scenes; From the exquisite still life in # 53 to the real life in #57, which like its title is a real pleasure. I have never hear of Garrotxa and Baix Empordà, actually I'm not sure how to pronounce it, but now I feel that as if I personally know this place, because you have really brought it to life. BRAVO, MI AMICO. I hope that you have an easy homecomming from Southern Italy. Looking forward for more of your pictures. And most important: UN GRANDE ABBRACCIO!!! :-)))) Orly

So far I have downloaded 4! #14 is my favorite (so far) but I love them all. The colors, composition, and of course the captions, especially the little girls. Great job! Sono stata in ogni luogo che hai catturato con la camera... in speciale Girona e Besalù, dove ci andavo con mio marito ogni tanto per far pranzo in un ristorante accanto il ponte. We have pottery made by Native American Indians, although beautiful, it is not colorful. I also love the balconies and bright window frames and all the lovely flowers. Hello ruggero ! Thanks for your message on my removal warning. In fact, I was so upset by the numerous errors webshots made on my albums this week-end, I made this decision very quickly, just to do something ... you probably are right : this will have no effect, except on us. I am so furious no to know what to do to protest !! I sent a lot of emails to the support, but, most of them have got no replies ... my major concern is about the stats : the number of views of my albums has been devided by 10 in the last days, some of this albums had no views for several days, which is very unusual for these albums ...in the same time, the number of downloads had increased, and the number of person having selected me as favorite too ... after 5 messages, theuy coorected the situation for 1 day .. and then it was wrong again !!! I don't know what to do ... It is incredible the way we can't do anything efficient in front of such a bad service ! If you have any idea on how to proceed efficiently, please, let me know ! By the way, thanks a lot for your lovely comment on my Vercors album ! You are right, I should add a map of the region ... So... If I cannot use the words "maestro&quo t; (which causes embarassment to you), if you don't like the idea to be compared with a professionnal photographer, what else do I have to describe the effects your new albums have on me (and I'm sure on anybody else)...? However big is your humility, I stay and insist on my first impression, when you first visited my shots (before I get featured) and when I discovered and entered this huge and friendly community, I mean you're really good and any of your new albums is a new proof of this fact, and thanks a lot for this new one. I won't argue any more to convince you that you're better than me and I'm not sure that this discusses has some kind of interest. All I can I say is that -obviously- you have great pleasure to look at my shots and your nice words are always a pleasure to me, and -obviously- the reverse situation is exactly the same. And please, don't blame too much the nature for its mistakes (cf shot 75 of Portofino), at least it gave you a very efficient eye and a precis finger to press your camera button. The webshots community should thank mother nature for this gift... :-))

Friend! Your feeling of Webshots is EXACTLY EXACTLY EXACTLY what I'm also feeling at the present time! I stay in WS just for one simple reason ... share our great photos with our nice community from around the world! Truly, I've been trying to find another website having similar platform ... Yahoo ... Hi Ruggero! I do not know what is happening with webshots either... Bot my Rio and my Dahlia album are not doing well according to the no of views... My views have gone down for some 66% (so leaving one third) and that in 2 weeks time.... They stopped again selecting nice featured albums and we are back t drab pictures.... Hi Ruggero!!! No you do not know that silly Roger in the pictures!!! He is a switch technician at the phone company where I work and he has vowed to have his photo made on the ground (on his face) in every country on Earth. How's he doing so far??? Those pictures were taken by his friend when they were visiting Alcatraz. I thought they were so funny I added them. I have been gathering some more signs...I will add them soon. It is sad what has happened to Webshots...is it not? To be brought down by thier own success! I hope I am never so successful that I forget the important parts of business!!! I agree with you on staying on WS to go on talking with friends like you and I will stay, but probably on a free account, which offers this pleasure, without having to pay for a rather inexistant premium service. Looking at your albums, which are so wonderful, I am upset to see a lot of albums of a so bad quality (showing different parts of nacked bodies of no interest for photography) having scores better than yours ! It seems that WS is becoming like TV : a lot of viewers on the worst things ... this is not making me sad, but angry ! I know I can't do a lot of things on that by myself, but I decided I had to try to do something, even if of no effect ... At the end, my anger will probably decrease : it should be a first result ... Considering the number of mails I got on this first experiment, I am not sure it is totally uneffective. My wish is WS to be as it was before, and nothing else ! Hi Ruggero...what a happy sight for the eyes to see your letter this morning!!! (I was HAPPY DANCING!!!) It seems that business is killing us all around the world! My office has suffered many lay offs and cut backs and the remaining people are sincerely overworked. Sanjay said the same thing....they are down to just him and one assistant that is...well....not alot of help. Erik is so busy at his work too...in between karate and army....LOL! So we are all done in and also we have lost the fun we used to experience on Webshots. I know you are right about your travel albums as Renderosity is more of an ART site. There really is nothing I have found, that equals the format of Webshots. I have started up in several other sites, but only dabbling...not like I am in WS. If you had more time, maybe you could put up a website....then we would visit your travels there! The downside of the website is the cost and the size...it kind of limits the amout of images you can post. And when I had mine before, I was greedy and wanted LOTS of photos and of good quality and some people had a hard time loading the pages. My mom and dad could never look at it with their dial up. So here we sit....WS has ruined our fun. BUT...anyhow.... Thank you so much for visiting my aquarium album!! I love that place!!! I even joined as a member!! I sent the WS link to the director of education there and invited her to look at my pictures and also offered her or the aquarium staff the use of any of the images for only the cost to them of a photo credit. She wrote me back the next day to ask if they could use the 'Boy - Lost in Thought' image on the COVER of their teachers cirriculum guide!!! Of course I agreed...and they are going forward with it. It is a guide book that goes out to every teacher who applies to bring a group of students down there for a tour...hundreds of them! My photo credit will be on every book! BIG HAPPY DANCE there!!! LOL :o)b Also I am preparing for a show that will run for 1 -2 months at a local and quite large church. They have a visiting artist program. I was invited and they will have a punch and cake reception on opening day of the exhibit. So...that's my report for now...please keep in touch! Hello Ruggero! What a gem you have here! You brought me immense happiness. Beauty is happiness. I could not take my eyes off them. Such brilliant colours and such varied aubjects. Each shot is a clear winner. I love the alleys, the churches, the pastures and the volcanic sites. What a feast to the eyes! Thank you for the generous words abot the Tuscany album. I had a wonderful time there. My family is a committed wine drinking family. We will drive 30 miles or more to get a good vintage bottle. So, you can imagine what a ball we had in Tuscany! I wish I had stayed longer. Yes, WS is going through turbulent times. Everyone has a right to get dispirited and sad. However, my friend, life is too short to let WS take control over my emotions.
