I remember going to Dogpatch several summers with my parents during the seventies. I graduated high school in 76 and got "too old & cool" for family theme parks after that. Too bad. Lots of good memories. I went back in 1994 and it was sad. They were open, but there was practically nothing to see. But it rocked in the 70s! I loved feeding the fish and watching them pile on top of each other to get the food pellets. Thanks for sharing! P.S. you might like my travel photos from the Gulf Coast.

Thank you for the photos of Dogpatch USA. I played Wolfgal and Nightmare Alice there during the 80's. I had completely forgotten about the trasheaters!! I remember being so hot during July and August and standing on the square with the big statue of General Jubilation T. Corpone and the soles of my moccasians (as Wolfgal) practically melting. I love the pic of your dad leaving the general store....I use to do crowd skits right outside that store....ahhh the memories. Thank you Kay
