Hello Suresh - Thanks for your recent visit and kind comments in my Switzerland album. I like all kinds of creative photography, but well done scenics and travel albums are probably my favorite on webshots. I get to re-visit places I've been, and see places I'd like to go... as is the case with this beautiful album. Thanks for the tour of this fascinating country through your eyes. Best regards from CO...Ed

Suresh, thanks for your visit to my new album of Waterfalls. I'm pleased that I could share with you some more of the beauty of the country that we both enjoyed visiting. Now you have to visit New Zealand so that we will have more countries that we enjoy their beauty...

Suresh, thanks for your very generous compliments! I really appreciate them coming from a photographer like you. I guess that I had more luck than you with the weather that allowed me taking many good pictures. I'm sure that you could produce much better pictures than me in those conditions. Best wishes, Yair.

Dear, dear Suresh, This is and has always been a magnificent album. Did you make the trip again or still finding treasures to add to this wonderful group of photos? Either way, I enjoyed viewing the photos all over again. I am so sorry it has taken me so long to return and visit with you. I hope you are enjoying a lovely summer. Leaving a large hug along with this message....Candy

Island is so wenig bekannt, aber so reich an unglaublicher Natur, was du so meisterhaft wieder in Bild und Wort beschrieben hast! :D! Marita

Hello Suresh. What a visual treat this album has been to view. I just can't imagine how it must have felt to have seen all these awesome images for real. I am tempted to visit Iceland after seeing all this amazing beauty which incidentally you have captured to perfection. I was happy you stopped by to sign my Valentine feature. It's those friends who call who help to make the day even more special. Thank you. Leaving for the USA in 3 weeks. New Mexico this time around to visit Loree (greenhongrl). Don't know what to expect, but I'm counting down the days. Take care. Best wishes, Jayne x

Suresh, I never cease to learn by viewing your albums. I particularly love this one. I'm not sure that I would want to live in a land with no trees. The simplicity of this area shows us that beauty can be found in starkness itself. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us at webshots. Mouse in Canada

Hello Suresh, I have glanced at this album several times in the past, but came back today to spend the time necessary to absorb the beauty of each picture to the fullest. It is a very unique country and you have portrayed it very beautifully with both superb photos and informative commentary. We had an interesting conversation with friends around the Thanksgiving dinner table about Iceland. Speaking of Thanksgiving, thank you for viewing my album and your gracious comments and good wishes. I am glad, too, that you enjoyed my Lake Louise album. Thanks for visiting. Best wishes, Carol

Dear Suresh I promised myself I would come back and have a much closer look at these wonderful pictures. I loved the architecture, the coastline, waterfalls and especially the moss I found that amazing. Iceland I know is a very expensive place to visit but to see sights like this for real must have been amazing. Thank so much for you wonderful GB entry in my Helvellyn album I am never happier than when I am walking in those hill That walk is one of the most poplular there is and so when there weren't too many people around we were delighted. You mentioned Everest my eldest son went to Nepal on a charity hike a couple of years ago now and reached the summit of Kala Patar and looked across to Everest on the most perfect of days. Now I would love to do that but doubt I ever will He loved it though. Once again thank you for youkind words they mean a lot to me. Take care now and have a wonderful weekend. Love Jill

This is one of the most beautiful, descriptive albums I've seen! Like most people, I believed that Iceland was an inhospitable, forlorn, and unattractive place to visit, let alone live! Through your eyes, I have now seen how wrong I was! Iceland is now on my list of "Must See" vacations! Thanks a million!! Linda in Maryland

Wow Suresh! What would look to be the most inhospitable place to live, has become a "fountain" of wonderful natural resources and human perserverance. Amid the "stark" landscape you have captured unbelievable beauty everywhere from the magnificent waterfalls, to the moss covered hills, to the colourful captial city, and the ever present volcanic activity, lakes and geysers! A spectacular tour and makes one want to explore this place for themself. I loved all the waterfall photos, true beauty and power there. Many thanks (donabad)for sharing and has always been a pleasure to view your albums and will look forward to new adventures you embark on soon. Take care and friendly smiles, amy

Hi Suresh and greetings from Kentucky USA. I have enjoyed looking at the moss covered mountains. I bet these are breath taking to look at in person. I noticed, one where a volcano had not erupted in a thousand years. Did you go up to the top of the rim? Or are you permitted to get that close? I like the things you talk about Iceland. It seem like it would be a beautiful place to visit. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work... Darrell

Hello Suresh, a long time ago you gave such a nice comment on my pictures of Austria and Venice, for which I hereby thank you. Now that I have more time on my hand I looked you up, and saw your magnificent pictures of my favorite island Iceland. You had awesome weather! And you have been in Landsmanalaugar, that must have been fantastic. We have been in Iceland in 1997 and 1999. The first time (1997) we went there for 8 days and stayed in Reykjavik, and in 1999 we did a trip around the island by passengercar for 3 weeks. That was great. Pictures of our tour, if you are interested, are to be seen at my evanwely site (3 albums). Because I did not have a digital camera at that time, the quality is not that good, but I scanned the best pictures I had at that time to show in these albums. Anyway, I enjoyed seeing your impression of Iceland, thanks for sharing. Best wishes, Els from Holland (evanwely/wely246)

All of your images of Iceland are magnificent. The last one was stunning and I hope you publish it somewhere! Just beautiful. The colors the composition, and clarity are excellent. Iceland is truly a wonderous place on earth. The image of the prime ministers home made me think perhaps the world should become as civilized as Iceland. You could never walk up to any high goverment officals home in the US. Too many gates, guards and fear. Is it truly a civilized country or is there just not enough people to make it uncivilized? Thanks for sharing this gorgeous album. Eti from Florida, USA

Suresh this album it's a TRUE MASTERPIECE!!! Fantastic landscapes from a wild country that seem to be in a different planet!! I'm amazed for the beauty of this nature and, for sure, for the quality of your shots! I think the feature will be necessary for this collection! The only remark that I can insert is that perhaps some shots are over saturated; anyway I think this is a voluntary and good choose in this situation and not a mistake..... so the vote (Rendy style :-) ) is: Excellent !! Thanks for this fantastic virtual trip and for your useful and great comment at shots...... CIAO Ruggero

My dear Suresh, I could stay hours looking at that magnificent album! Congratulations, Master! The subject is fascinating, the photos are outstanding! I have downloaded half of your treasured work; Nature attracts me more than towns, specially in that Country I saw many times but from planes only; Already from high altitude it seems wonderful; The cathedral is curious and makes me think to a NASA shuttle design; I love 1, 12, 19, 26, 28, 29, 33, 37; Master pieces (of God creation and Suresh show) are Silgoldufoss 20, the blue sapphire surrealistic ambiance of 38, the very impressive Skogarfoss falls 40, the perfect quiet sunset on earth planet 48; When I think to the poor albums sometimes featured I feel perplex about WS choices!!! I have also to congratulate you for the excellent captions you add to your pictures making them ten times more interesting! I have begun to convert slides and remember your wishes about Myanmar; We are going, for the second time this year, to visit India on November 17 for a 25 days trip with a short visit of Oman Muscat on the way back to Paris; We shall arrive on November 18 in Chennai and will restart from there on December 10 after a complete private tour of South India; Still thank you to have brought me on this wonderful trip to Iceland where I dream to go, warm wishes from Paris, Jacques

There is real life in your views, it's not the type of an anonymous prospectus. What stunning contrasts on this small island: rough climate here, luxurious vegetation there thanks to the warm water. - Thank you for your kind comments in our last Brittany album! - With best wishes: Käthi and Henri

Hi there Suresh!! Firstly apologies for delay in replying, but I honestly thought I had replied to guestbook before I went to the coast for a good 5 days!! Tk you for kind comments re flowers, but WOW WOW WOW sometimes flowers just pale to the magic of the power of nature at work in the big pic!!!! There is nothing as beautiful as seeing through the eyes of an eagle...and this Suresh you have truly done! I feel blessed to walk through your Iceland, and this Breathtakingly STUNNING album was just a journey of MAGIC and WONDER like a National Georgraphic spread to say the least! Your amazing photos...the Sigoulufus Iceland waterfalls..the whole spectrum from the city shores to the starkest beauty of the inner deep is AWESOME!!! This is a BRILLIANT album...and then that absolutely life humbling last photo...Sunset...PERFECT! ! I was soo thrilled to also see the animals which are as much a part of this world as any other wonder, and thank you soo much for showing and opening out eyes to such beauty. I also loved the buildings, especially the ones with the grass roofs and wouldn't they be a place to sit and look at and breathe in the beauty!! Have a really great day....and tks for showing the complete beauty and opening up our eyes. Your love and passion for life shines through Suresh!! You are a treasure...Em from Aussie

Hi Suresh, what a wonderful album. The Icelandic nature is so fascinating, and I always wanted to go there - even more so after seeing these pictures. I especially like the vulcanic landscapes, which you captured very well. The green mosses contrast very well against the black rocks. Kind regards, Marjon.

hi Suresh!!! Great work. Absolutely stunning album!! I kind of hate photos of waterfalls as nobody seems to be able to catch their real beauty on a photo... But you do!! The glaccier and the sunset colours are just marvelous... You just feel and know what to do in photography. Loved to walk with you in Iceland!! Greetings Anna

Hi Suresh, What can I say, your album absolutely took my breath away. You never cease to amaze me! The way you capture your shots is truly artistic and they way you draw me towards the incredible architecture and picturesque landscapes enthralls me. Iceland is truly an enchanting place filled with mystique, charm and magnificent beauty. The waterfall shots intrigued me... simply beautiful! My favourite, above all the glorious images you captured, was the sunset. Wow... truly a superb photograph... if I were judging photographs... this would have to be ranked as OUTSTANDING! Keep up the fantastic work Suresh and thank you again for sharing the memories you encapsulate of all the exotic places you visit... now I can say - I've been to Iceland too! Regards, Ann - Australia.

Hi Suresh, I love your new album, it is really interesting. I really appreciate all your captions as it explains this beautiul land. I am amazed at the photos of the buildings with grass on the roof, wow! I imagine that is great insulation and so pretty too, I am wondering if they mow it and if so, how it is done, lol. I enjoyed learning that the cows often have the right of way on the roads and viewing the lovely horses. The lighthouse and church display really beautiful architecture and you captured them perfectly! Your waterfall shots are terrific, I could hardly believe the shot with many waterfalls in one area. Another great work from you, and I wish to thank you for sharing this magnificent place with me. Candy

Suresh, I came over to look at you pieces of ART, these photo's are lovely. I just sat back, let the slide show began, and took an imaginary trip by looking at these photo's. I love the way you capture most of your people as well, they never look "staged" ; just natural, a chance to see life as it is. I've went through all your albums, and I would have loved to see these sites in Egypt and India, with the world situation, it took away the freedom to see the world. So I hope you don't mind if I see that part of the world through your eyes. I would love to try to do a water color painting of some of your images. There are so many I don't know which one, but perhaps you will let me do a painting, dedicated to your photo's. Melody

I'm impressed by the way you turn the volcanic area into a colourful landscape. For your last photo, the Island sunset they should give you an award. You reached the top! Greetings, Tjebbe
