This is a terrific album with fantastic photos. But I found that some of the photos were difficult to look at as some of the children seemed so sad. My favorite shots were of the young shepherd, the lemur group, the girls looking through the hut walls, and the magnificent sunset. Che bello questo prezioso portfolio, anche se non conosco il Madagascar se non sommariamente (e tu giustamente non corredi le tue foto di descrizioni, che dovrebbero riempire almeno un libro). Io credo che queste siano "schegge" di un'esperienza di viaggio fuori dal comune, raccolte da un occhio esperto ed attento. A giudicare dalle foto devi avere degli obiettivi potenti e perfetti: la luce è sempre stupenda. Ma credo che l'accessorio piu' prezioso sia la capacita' che la "tua macchina" ha di fotografare lo spirito delle persone. In questo album, che hai fatto in gran parte con i sorrisi di un popolo per noi povero e lontano, anche senza didascalie o spiegazioni, ci sono mille insegnamenti, e non solo di fotografia. Per cui ti ringrazio mille volte. Le foto sono tutte belle e non saprei quale scegliere, personalmente mi hanno incantato forse un po' di piu' gli occhietti sorridenti del fratellino e della sorellina e il sorriso di quell'uomo, soddisfatto di avere rimediato del cibo che credo nessuno di coloro che guardano qui le tue foto avrebbe mai il coraggio di toccare. The faces of Madagascar-life in the villages is truly a wonderful album. You've captured the essence of each soul..I wonder how you came to visit the countries you have and see the places you've seen?
