Hi Susie, I see that I commented on this album a couple of years ago, but you may have added more pictures since that time! What a glorious album! I hope one day to see this beautiful part of the country! We are experiencing some perfect weather out here, so I hope you have a wonderful vacation & manage to get some great sunrise/sunset shots at the beach! Can't wait to see your photos!! God bless, Lynn

Hi Segseven, Great pictures! I particularly enjoyed the outstanding shots of the snow-covered Tetons engulfed in a mixture of clouds and sun. It's easy to see why you still get a lot of views and downloads. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thanks for your very kind words a couple of days ago on my Utah album. There is no setting on the Nikon D70 for panoramas. I mount the camera on a tripod, take several pictures along a straight line making sure the there is some overlap from one to the next and later I use Photoshop software in my PC to stitch the sequence together into a panorama. It's not quite that simple, but that’s the main gist. If you need more details, let me know.

Hey Segseven! Great work in beautiful country. The greater Yellowstone region is always going to be one of my favorite places. Even outside the park there are places to go and things to do, Beartooth Canyon and Plateau just NE of the park being a classic example. Appreciated your comments about my Kamas Canyon album in Utah's Uinta Mountains. Especially understanding how dry things can get out here in the west, hopefully ElNino will change that over the next year or so.

Hi Segseven! I agree with you that Yellowstone and Grand Tetons are beautiful places to photograph as you have demonstrated here so well. The geothermal activity is certainly unrivaled anywhere else in the world and the wildlife is certainty as good as it gets outside of Africa. I'm sorry I wasn't available to congratulate you when you were "featured&qu ot;, but belatedly I do so now and thank you for your kind words about my "featured&qu ot; Nature album. Paul in FL.

Hi Segseven! Thank you for your warm words on my "Western Safari" album the other day. I'll never forget Yosemite NP, it was the first time I witnessed such primeval beauty. I hope to make it to Yellowstone too one day. Meanwhile you gave me, and the whole Community, an opportunity to experience some of the magic, power, and beauty of this place. You've done a wonderful work throughout the album, and I was really amazed seeing that golden sunrise on the snowy mountains. Thank you for sharing and best wishes from Israel, Orly

Looks like a great vacation! Soap Wart is a sprawling plant. Lovely leaves and beautiful flowers. A friend gave it to me. Not knowing what to expect, I planted it in the wrong place (scattered in several places) and it took over the flowers next to it. This fall I will transplant it to one area where it can spread where ever it wants. It makes a great corner plant. I am not sure where it gets it's name. Floyd from Texas

Hi Segseven, Congratulations on this spectacular featured album!!! This is definitely a winner!! I am going to take the time after work tonight to sit down & go through your new albums in detail, but I wanted to take the time now to thank you for all your kind comments in my guestbooks. Our trip was a quick one (4 days) to Mammoth & short drive from there for a day trip into the upper end of Yosemite (I have just added some of those pictures this morning). I will probably finish adding pictures over the next couple of days - but, as I noticed in your comments below, you can't always get the whole album put together immediately as things like work (and unpacking!) get in the way!!! I've never been to Yellowstone & I can't wait to see your complete tour!!! Thanks for sharing! God bless, Lynn

I remember the beauty of Jenny Lake with the snow capped Tetons as the backdrop when we camped there in 1972. That is an everlasting photo in my mind as the "most beautiful place on earth" You have some fantastics shots which rival my "mind photo" job well done

Good mornin' Segseven!! Congratulations on your featured album of Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. I had a wonderful tour. Unlike anncaron*(whoever he, or she, maybe) I enjoyed all your wonderful shots and had a great time 'communing' with nature. I could hear the rush of the waterfalls, the whispers between the leaves, the laughter in the clouds and the lullaby of the rivers. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your special day in the spotlight!!! princess (california)
