Dear Jacques! I am still coming to terms with the inordinate praise you heaped upon my Iceland album. Of course, I know my album pales in quality to the innumerable, magnificent albums you have in your collection. However, I humbly thank you for the appreciation. It means a lot to me coming from you. This album on Clichy, as I can see, is a very sentimental album. It is full of pride and a sense of belonging. Thank you for taking me through the city. The architecture is impressive. I am particularly touched and happy to see the colourful gardens dotting the city. Flowers everywhere means people care and that is how the city remains young. The dog cemetery is a unique experience for me. This is the fist time I have come across this concept and the more I think about the more it makes sense. Thank you, my friend for a fine album. The first few times I came to Paris I would always stay around the Porte Clichy Area and on the weekend walk to the Marche aux Puces,Fleamarket. This was from 1975 - 82. The area seems to have changed quite a bit! I've been back to Paris many times, it is my favourite city, but have not been back to Clichy. Fascinating album...I was especially touched by the photos of the Dog & Cat Cemetary as my kitty is very dear to me. I was unable to visit Chengde as per your recommendation while in China, but I found many other photo worthy scenes nontheless. Please visit my new albums and invite others too! Hello Jacques! I know I commented on this album long ago. It is so heartening to see this album being featured. I should have written and congratulated you earlier but was away in Peru on a vacation and came back only a few days ago. Your pictures are always an inspitrtion and your travels always exciting. Your recent 33 days trip to Spain must be full of good pictures and adventure. I cannot wait to see your albums. I am also wading through my Peru pictures. Bonjour Jacques, je tiens a vous remercier pour toutes vos photos de cette belle France qui est aussi le pays de mon enfance. Avez-vous deja ete dans le lot et garonne a Sainte Maure de Peyriac, et Lectoure et Fleurance dans le Gers? Je n'ai plus revu ces endroit depuis mes 15 ans et j'en ai chut..64. Je vie maintenant sur le Pacifique, mais je suis toujours tentee de revenir surtout en admirant tout ces paysages merveilleux que vous nous offrez.
