Fred.. Jewels is right, you should DEFINITELY check out that site. I just started putting photo's there but there aren't that many from my old camera that were big enough to use outside of a greeting card. Sounds like I will need to go out and capture some images with my newest one. Jim

This album just gets better with every addition, Fred! They talk about so many people moving into Florida that someday it will either float away or sink! I think Blount County, TN is going to have 'explosion' problems too, if you don't stop tempting us with the beautiful scenery! Why didn't we see YOUR area when we explored eastern TN? ... Hi Fred, beautiful photos of a beautiful area of the country. We have relatives in N. Florida and N. Carolina, but we always fly to see them due to limited time. I'm looking forward to the time when we can take a nice, leisurely drive through Tennessee and Kentucky, instead. Thank you for sharing. And thank you for your kind comments today in our Scotland and Moscow albums. To be honest, sometimes we are just lucky with the weather. We go about our sightseeing and activities and try to take advantage of it when we have good conditions. We’re stumbling around here – I injured my knee last October, had the surgery in late January, but it’s been a real experience getting back into photography. Your “yacht club” photos remind me of a song by Frank Patterson (“Ireland In Song” CD) called “Away from the roll of the sea” where is describes nestled fishing boats, tied to the dock, and rocking gently to motion of the waves – very peaceful. Glad to oblige, Robin. Just a little background on that particular shot might add to its appeal. Normally, I don't like to shoot landscapes in the middle of the day - the light just isn't that interesting. But on this day in the very early spring, everything came together in such a pleasing image, I went ahead and shot away, getting two nice photos. This barn is in a small community not far from Jamestown, in a part of East Tennessee away from interstate highways, and that adds to its charm.
