• Hi Gladys, I just found you, wonderful photos in this first album I have viewed. I love the lizard, is it dangerous or kind? Your album is a winner! Such beauty, both the sea and the red flowers are marvellous. Greetings from Finland, Merike

 • Hi Gladys: Love these gorgeous flowers! Western Australia looks like beautiful ranch country to me. A lot like Eastern Montana and Washinton. The colors of your land are quite splendid as I am used to the plains here in the states; I know how much beauty the rolling plains can hide at first glance--love of a land is where your heart hath remembered with passion. Talk To You Later.

 • Hi Gladys, this album of colourful wildflowers is so beautiful, not only because the photographs are well taken but it's good to see the different colours and varieties of wildflowers from other countries, sometimes we don't appreciate the beauty of our own wildflowers because we are over familiar with them but as you demonstrate, beauty is all around us if we only just look, very well captured and presented. PS.,I do agree with you full heartedly that comments along with images make an album so much more enjoyable,Regards,Rod.

 • Hi Gladys, This album is so beautiful. I love your wildflowers. They are unknown to me just like my Caribbean's to you. Your landscapes are beautiful to. The Kalbarry locks like one of our Iguanas crossed with a snake. Thanks for visiting my Caribbean Flower album and your nice entry in my guestbook. Sorry for being late. I'm very busy lately. Heidi

 • Thanks Gladys for your entry in my Walyunga guest book. It was indeed good to visit there again after about 30 years!! We really did want to find the meeting place of the Avon and Brockman rivers but I was worried all the time about Betty slipping on one of those pea gravel paths so we have decided to re-do the trip sometime after her arm comes out of the plaster (Which is supposed to be next Weds. week, fingers crossed) Peter

 • G'day Gladys. I think you have nearly worked out that I'm not a flower expert.LOL.I do know what's pretty and what's not and these wild flowers are something else, they're beautiful. I asked the boss the names of the roses and she can't remember (doesn't know) either. Anyway, drop by again when you're not too busy, I'll put the kettle on. lol. Cheers Al..

 • Hello Gladys. Thanks for visiting my "Animals&quo t; album, and for your kind words. Some of these bears were from the Ueno zoo in Tokyo, Japan. I need to spend more time labeling the whereabouts of some of my photos, as several people ask me the same question you've asked. I love this album of yours. Reminds of me of my younger days out in the bush. I used to love to run amongst the wildflowers. You've got some beautiful shots here, and it appears you had a great time taking them. Thanks very much for writing, and I'll visit your photos again some time soon. Many thanks! Peter

 • Hi Gladys I found a nice site too: http://www.bio.miami.edu/mimosa/mimosa.html more and more species. In that site is written, that if you touch the leaves they close - like a butterflies wings. I just tried that! Fascinating! It worked. I am talking about those with the light pink flower which blooms in May. At last I looked at my own pictures and saw it there too! :-) http://community.webshots.com/photo/195448663/195477716nMwGiL trees are fascinating, don't you think. Maybe I got the wrong profession..... ;-) Thanks vor your compliments about my pictures. :-))) Galit

 • Hi Gladys, rose # 13 is yours! :-) Thank you for looking at my 'Powder Puff Tree' . I got the idea, that there are many different trees with similar flowers. Those with leaves like Jacaranda are Mimosaceas. The tree is not so high and bloom in May together with the Jacaranda. The Archidendron grandiflorum is called Silk tree or mimosa tree too. Bloom in August and the leaves are larger. It is not a tree, more a scrub. But there are many more ! And there are many more names for the same tree. Soon I will load up the second part of the powder puff flowers. Sometimes they remind me the Eucalyptus. There are so many forms too and the bloom is really different. Someone here in Israel decided to bring Koalas to Israel. We have a lot of Eucalyptus! - But it is not the right Eucalyptus! So they brought for the Koalas their own Eucalyptus to feed them Yes, many of the same trees grow in Israel and in Australia - and they all grow in Florida too!! :-))) Have a beautiful day! - Galit from Israel

 • Hi Gladys, thanks for looking at my new roses. I decided to give them away, for free of course. I want you to choose one, please :-)))). Yes I found my tree - and many others more. I looked for bottle brushes and powder puff and similar and for frangipanis. This is an extraordinary album. I like the coast and beach pictures at the end, the '137-Rush-Leaved Patersonia', '128-Banksia menziesii', and '111-Grey Sky Above with the elegant bend of the road! Gladys, have a happy day - and a rose :-) Galit from Israel
