  • Hello Gladys, Your albums are a joy. Amazed by the beauty of your country I know now if I ever migrate that's where I'd feel at home. paperbark trees, grevillaeas, eucalyptus, beaches, red landscapes and the southern cross still over my head. How about an album on misty mornings near the river? Thank you so much for sharing your passion for beauty. Greetings from Argentina, Maria Elena

  • Gladys, Thank you so much for your kind words in my guestbook. I took the opportunity to come back and visit some of your wonderful albums. Every time I see them, I am amazed by the landscapes, and flora that look so completely alien to my North American eyes. Seeing your images reminds me of how many beautiful places there are in this world. I sincerely hope to come see your little corner of heaven one day soon. Cheers! :) Cathy in Maine

  • Gladys, I'm so glad you signed my guestbook, if only because that provided me with a much appreciated link to your glorious pictures. Coming from such a gifted photographer, your praise means a lot to me, indeed. I've been to Australia three times and counting, and one of the many many things that fascinate me is the degree to which you guys are still as much alive to the stunningness of your scenery as we visitors are. I don't think you would find that sort of pride here in Europe. But then I suppose we simply cannot compete!! I love your photos and I will keep coming back. Greetings from Luxembourg. Christine

  • Gladys, Thank you for visiting the Oregon Coast with me. I love the desert, and spend my winters in Arizona where it is nice and warm. This is a beautiful collection, as are all of your wildflower country albums. Thanks for sharing. Doug

  • Hi Gladys and thanks for viewing my Perth City album. I had been sitting on those photos for quite some time for some reason and never gave a thought to putting them on Webshots until somebody asked me to describe Perth to them! The river was flat calm and beautiful last Weds and even that smoke haze didn't spoil the photos (which you haven't seen yet!!) Peter

  • Hello Gladys, Thank you for your comments on my Swans album yesterday. I think this album of yours is fantastic as a sculptor and artist I find a lot of inspiration in old machines. I look forward to viewing a slide show of your other albums. Paul. Burton-upon-Trent UK

  • Hi Gladys, first of all I want to complement you on this beautiful album, you have done an incredable job with these photos. You asked if we had a dry year in Utah for the lake to be so low. Actually, this winter was quite wet, but we have been in a severe drought for over 5 years, that is what caused the lake to be so low. Thank you for viewing my album and for your comments. Have a great day... Paul/Utah

  • Hello Gladys, this is a wonderful album with magnificent scenery pictures. I love the old steam engines! And of course the wilde flower pictures, of which I very much like the flannel bush. It seems the right name for this bush. The Yellow Everlastings look like the chrysanthemums I used to sow in my vegetable garden in order to dry them for use in dried flowerbouquets. Coming back to your remark on the cultivated kangaroo paw; you are absolutely right. Because the colour of the one you showed in your picture was much warmer, therefore much more beautiful. I am always interested in picturing wilde flowers when I see them and therefore interested in seeing other albums regarding this subject. Best wishes, Els

  • Hello Gladys, and thanks for your comments in my Wyoming & Tetons guestbook. I enjoyed very much looking at the scenery and wild flowers of this album. The huge boulders are fantastic, they seem to have the same colors as the red terrain and the rusty machines. Also, I love the sunset clouds. Thanks for sharing! Ina in Canada
