  • Hi Keith! This is a great album! I love the colorful lorikeets, and the sleeping wombat is so precious. How did you ever get such a great close-up of the cookabura? And the croc picture is really scary! Thanks for this wonderful glimpse of the Australian wildlife, and thanks for your nice words in my Dolmites album guestbook. Warm greetings from California, Beth

  • Hi Keith, how goes it down your way!! I love this album, just soo beautiful, and all the wonderful Aussie creatures...(a few I am not particularly too fond of...namely snakes...eeek!! I mean walk on air if under my feet!!) Spiders and the rest...no worries...and maybe not particular crocs either, but I found it hard to go past that just soo stunning photo of the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo..!! Oh WOW!! What a ripper!! He is just sooo beautiful Keith, peering around the tree and wish he was in my backyard! At the moment I am are blessed to have a Swamp Pheasant around of late and an owl, so the centre of Bris is not that bad, and certainly plenty of wildlife!! I once had an Echidna in my garden when I lived up the coast, and the wildlife guy told me to consider myself blessed that he chose to bury and sleep in my inner garden!! My only sighting in the wild of one of those to date?!! I see you have a few more albums up that i shall have to investigate and great to see you showing what is truly Aussie!! Tks for sharing this beauty for all to see, and I sure miss my camera, so have searched in a few folders and come up with a few things!! Back to painting I go...and take care my friend!! I have thought a few times, must write to Keith, but I always get sidetracked..!! I shall do so way before Xmas k!! Have a really great day....Em from Aussie

  • Hello there Keith and what a fabulous album of amazing Aussie creatures you have created here!!!!By the look of the snakes spiders and crocs I think that you had better pack your bags and shoot over to N.Z .....we would love to have you and keep you safe!!!!Your bird photographs are stunning I love the bird life you have in Australia ...so colourful and cheeky!!!!Thankyou so very much for your very complimentary message in 'Welcome to My World' it was really lovely to hear from you ....especially an Australian because I often get the feeling that Aussies are not fond of New Zealanders and that always makes me feel sad.I really love New Zealand and the people here generally speaking are wonderfully caring ,sharing sorts.I think New Zealand has a more gentle climate than Australia and I love that because we have so much green around us and that gorgeous fresh smell of the rain.....sometimes too much when we get the floods but it is lovely to be able to grow wonderful gardens.Sorry I have been so long in answering your message -I have been panic striken with the number of replies to write !!!!!I have been very blessed with making so many super friends at webshots like I am sure you have too!Warmest wishes from New Zealand Keith-Lynne

  • You have some wonderful photos in this album Keith but have you got a death wish or something?? No way would you get me up so close and personal with a death adder or a black snake for that matter and I know they say the Huntsman is harmless but with a span as big as a saucer that takes a bit of swallowing! I loved the Rainbow Lorikeets and the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo is a wonderful shot. Keep saying I gotta get a Platypus sometime but i'll be pushing daisies before that happens I guess. Cheers Keith, but I could well be back before the evening is out!! Peter

  • Hi Keith, Wonderful collection of Australian fauna! That adder, I'm sure, didn't get its name because it lulls its prey to sleep. You got closer to it than I would have. And that stick insect looks a lot like our praying mantis. It’s always great fun learning about what walks, crawls and slithers across Australia. Greetings from Florida, Paul. PS. Thank you for your very kind words today on my Las Vegas album.

  • Hey Keith, Thank you very much for leaving me a note in my album:0) Australia is on top of places to visit, we were actually considering moving to Australia a while back, but the immigration laws were not very favorable for a system's engineer & an MBA graduate ( I think Australia needs hairdressers now:0) so for time being, we'll stay in Canada, which, BTW, is not too shabby (well...except for the winters, of course). If you ever want to chat, feel free to contact me via MSN on maxy3333@hotmail.com. I would love to hear more about Sydney!!!! All the best, Agnieszka Ps: If u're ever in Toronto, we'll be glad to show u around as well.

  • Hello Keith, congratulations on anther featured album. I glad you didn’t “bother” the Death Adder. I just read that the antitoxin made from the snake’s venom doesn’t work. Or maybe I’m confusing this one with another Australian snake which I thought I read was black. Anyway, I like the photo. Ed & Helen/Albuquerque

  • Good Day Mate. It sure is a small world. And, with tongue in cheek, most of us only thought that Australia only had Kookaburra, Koala's and Roos! lol Now for the hard stuff. Is the Echidna related to our porcupine family? What a strange looking creature. The Diamond Firetail birds are beautiful; and of course, I love cockatoo's especially the sulfur crested or triton. I did not realize that you had so many different types of snakes and lizards. Is it due to the amount of land area that is desert? Congratulations on this well deserved album. Enjoy your day mate! I have a Moluccan Cockatoo, among many other birds. Cockatoos are beautiful birds and it's neat to see them in the wild. Thanks for all the pictures you put on Webshots - they are beautiful. Some of these creatures are really cute, some other are scaring - but all of them are very interesting, as mostly I didn't even know such animals exist on earth... Thanks for showing to the rest of the world how exceptional fauna can be. This is the best publicity for WWF! Congratulations for your achievement and very best regards from the other end of the world! Mike (Zurich, Switzerland).
