From a seattlite, like me I love these photos of well known places and sights. The picture of the old ferry holds a bit of controversy and now has been sold to someone and they have now moved it somewhere else! Up to alaska I think. It is called the Kalakalah ( sp? I probably muffed that up but you get the jist maybe)and is a very historic piece of history for seattle yet the owners just left it to rot unforntunately and when it finally went up for sale no one wanted it because it would cost too much to restore! I think it would have been awesome to turn it into a floating restaurant and I hear that idea was thrown around but again money was the problem. Now, though that piece of history is gone sadly although some say good riddence. but thanks anyway for taking a picture of such an interesting part of seattle history that will probably be forgotten in time to come! Whew sorry that was a bit winded but I thought I would share! Thanks for sharing your bit of Seattle and best wishes to you!
