  • Great shots of the "Vic"! In shona they call her Mosi oa Tunya which translates as "The Smoke that Thunders"! Such a descriptive title for these impressive Falls. Photos are wonderful but never really capture the amazing expansive beauty of these Falls in person, you agree?!!!! There is such power and a sense of awe when seeing it and that beautiful rainbow leaves you with a positive promise. Many thanks again for these wonderful and special albums, they touched my heart deeply and reminds me of the beauty that Africa holds which is so pure and raw and completly addictive! Warm smiles, amy

  • Wow, Dianna, these Victorian Fall pictures are amazing. I can nearly hear the thunder of the falling water (41 and 42), such a power! I also like nr. 30 very much, it is such a beautiful sight with the rainbow across the whole picture. When I was in Iceland in 1997, we did this daytrip to a.o. the Gulfoss falls, and it was a sunny day, and the sun was producing a rainbow just where I stand, so I really stand in the glow of the rainbow, it was an great experience, so beautiful, I will never forget it. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos and thanks also for your nice words on my new album about Leuven. Not all the historic buildings in European countries are preserved that well. But it is amazing how some buildings like Tafelrond and the Library are rebuilt, because they were so damaged during the wars I and II. The same thing you see f.e. in Vienna, many buildings there were heavily damaged in the 2nd World War, and when you see them now, they are completely restored to their old glory. But it costs a lot of money to do so. But I think it is always worthwhile to keep historic sights in tact, because it belongs to someone’s country’s cultural inheritage, and therefore also to the inheritage of its people. Warm wishes and have a nice week, Els

  • I've spent hours viewing Webshots waterfalls around the world & yours, by far, are the most vivid. Your angles & dimensions are insightful. Many of them take my breath away. I've chosen #31 as my favorite. Never let go of that camera!!!
