Hi Amy, very subdued and angelical this morning, I am now a patient sort of chappie who has become addicted to nature. If you look at my latest album all will be revealed. As For Venice I do like your perspective very much of the crumbling old place. I have been twice been to Venice once in the winter and once in the summer, OK the first time but it smelled a bit on the second visit, I liked the water buses and the ladder back on to the ship but not much more about the place. I've got no culture. You have to remember that I am a yokel a product of the Bogs and Fens of East Anglia. Not some suave City chick, who can boast of a big tower that everytime my wife see it she has a moan at me for not taking her up the damm thing. Woe is me. have a nice weekend and don't let the Sun fry the Brains. I would be OK there, got none to start with Ken or Swampy or any thing else that people call me

Hello Amy, a great album, wonderful pictures of a magnificent city. It is so nice to see how you experienced Venice. You have a wonderful way of photographing that I like very much. My favourite pictures are nrs. 2, 9 and 16, and I love the window pictures. I visited the city in 1993 and 1998 (daytrips). In my 2 Austrian album I have put some pictures of Venice that I made at that time (not digital pictures and it shows). Thanks for visiting my albums of Cochem and My Garden-Springtime. Best wishes, Els

Hi Amy! Enjoyed your travels through this ancient city and you have captured many interesting shots. I love the reflections in many of them, and had to smile at "Gondola Parking Lot", it had never occured to me that they have to park. Thankyou for dropping in on my albums and your kind words. Have a great day.. Gladys.

First of all I want to thank you for your kind comments on my site. I have three photoshops. The kaleidoscope was done Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. I have to pull myself away from the computer when I start playing because I love it. I also love restoring old pictures as I used to do oil protraits for studios. You have many beautiful shots but I love the Reflection of San Marco's. It is one of my favorites. Hope to talk again. Have a great Thanks Giving! Maxine/Mi

Wasn't Venice a fun experience!! I only got one day there while the ship was in port in Triest but I plan on going back there the first chance I get!! Of course my friends and I had to take a Gondola ride, it was great!! I like the way you photographed the city, a different and interesting view! Thanks for sharing that perspective with me!! ~Marie

Forgot to mention... The blue/lilac coloured flower growing on the terrace in shot #46, my friend in Ostia, which is just outside of Rome, has the exact same flower growing on her terrace. Ciao amica. Jayne, UK. :) xx

Good morning Amy. Loved my guided tour of Venice, by courtesy of your well informative and great photos. I have visited Venice twice but it was a long time ago. After being reminded what a beautifuyl city it is, I think another trip is in order. Italy is my favourite European country. I have a passion for any place or thing within it!! Have a great Sunday. Take care. Luv n'hugs Jayne, West Midlands, UK. :) xx

I adore Venice! I got to go there back in high school, and think it is the most beautiful city in the world. Enjoyed the album very much, you got some great shots.
