Thanks for sharing these interesting photos. I would like to visit an offshore platform sometime, but this is likely as close as I'll ever be.

Hi Ted! Awesome album! Amazing what you can have as a photographic subject and it so works!! Love the first image in particular (very dramatic) also love #5 and #13. You seemed to have good weather out there, a rarity on those things!! Can I ask what you were working on out there? (personal interest from studying geology) Thanks very much for your comments in my guestbook and I have a new album of autumn colours on an oak tree if you wanted to see more! Am looking forward to the winter actually and am enjoying autumn way more than I usually do - I think because I am finally appreciating it's beauty after seeing all the amazing photos from various webshots members during your autumn! Have a great week! Kate

Hi Ted, Thank you for your kind comments on my featured album. I wonder if the western oklahoma rigs have production platforms too. I have an album of drilling for oil and gas, maybe you would like to take a look sometime. Cynthia

Hi Ted, it is unbelievable, that you and with you so many people have to go to this bad experience again. This time your place obviously were on the other, the bad side of the hurricane. You have a hell of an hurricane season this year!! I hope you'll get over it without damage to whatever. Thanks for the link to your light pink building . . . . . how is it now, again with the feet in water - so tell our news. Houston does not seem to be the ideal place too. I hope your life will become soon safe and calm - just like in our region we have wonderful weather right now! Ted, I hope you all are okay! - Galit

HI Ted...I just loved this powerful album and the fabulous Night Time Lights is probably my fav. Just gorgeous and I loved the colors in the first few...bright yellow and vivid blues. Some very strong and empowered shots of the ocean and steel combined and I am glad it was u there and not me..LOL..I would probably feel a sinking feeling or something but a really enjoyable album my friend. I also believe after reading Galits comment that you are to be Congratulated. CONGRATULATIONS!! Soo many fans and that includes me too....Good for you and you do have such sonderful albums full of enormous beauty and p####ion. You have a really great day and tks also for you ever lovely words in my Mists album as it is always highly appreciated. Take care...and GB u too my friend....Em

Hi Ted, I hope you are fine, not working too hard, not too many problems with all what happened in your area. I look at 'The Hilton' and think in what shape it must be now. And beside that, I just wanted to congratulate you on reaching 1000 *T*H*O*U*S*A*N*D* (WOW) admirers who made you one of their favorites! Now I am - not yet one in an Million - but one happy One in those thousand! :-) Galit

This album is very interesting for my Ted. I am a Merchant Sailor and has sailed for more than 10 years in you look for oil tankers. Today work in a refinery of Petroleum: Petronor (Repsol-YPF) in the North of Spain, and the world of the gas & oil is very know for my. To see this album complements my long life near petroleum. Thanks to share it with all the family of WS. Best whises for you, my dear friend. Jesus

Ciao Ted! This album makes me remember that so long time ago a woman read me the cards to look into future...and she told me that I would have meet a man coming from the sea!...so, some time after I met a man coming from something like 248G in the Adriatic sea! Nothing happened just to say Ciao! but I knew about a lot about these "wonderful things" in our seas... Thanks*** Clara

Thanks for your contribution in my Flaming Fantasy guestbook. I enjoyed looking in your GOM albums, for 'outsiders' like me it is such a different world. There are some beautiful photos in your albums and I dowloaded some of the rigs to use as a wallpaper. Best wishes from the Netherlands, Louise.

Hi Ted, what an extraordinary series of photographs! I'd have to agree with Michel and Marianne, the Night Time Lights take the cake. Everything looks so calm and serene. I wonder what those platforms like when the seas get rough? Thanks for posting. Jon from Seattle, WA.

I am inquiring about your photos (which I am a big fan of! I'm an independant consultant and currently working on a services brochure for a confidential client. I am really interested in using one of your photos from the "GOM Offshore Steel" gallery? Is this possible? Can you please contact me via email (dani5253@hotmail.com) and let me know what is involved? Many thanks, look forward to hearing from you.
