They shall grow not old, As we that are left grow old, Age shall not weary them, Nor the years condemn, At the going down of the sun, And in the morning, We will remember them.

Hello Sally, Just to thank you for your G/B in my Scotland, on the 10 9 2003, as I was new to W/S at the time and did not know how to answer all the people at the time. Thankyou again. ray and Eileen. (UK)

Sally, This album is so well done. I have never been to Arlington Cemetary and it was a reflective experience for me. I have a son who is a First Lietenant in the Army National Guard and he is now serving this country in Iraq. I have another son who is a captain in the National Guard and is a pilot. He is due to go to Iraq within the year. Thanks for this view of our brave men who died for our country. Jane

Thank you Sally, for your wonderful photos of our country's wonderful Arlington Cemetary and Washington. So many heros and so much sacrifice for all of us. I am very sorry that so many of our citizens de not seem to know what price freedom has cost in the lives of so many. It is difficult to understand the effort to remove God, Jesus and Christianity from our schools and public places. Your photos shauld open some of these eyes, but I doubt they will. Ray, LT USNR

Sally...Thanks for the invite to this awesome album..sorry I'm late in responding but had computer problems...Have been to DC & Arlington Cemetery & very impressed with every single bit....This is truly a tribute to all of those who gave their lives to insure our freedom...The Iwo Jima monument holds a very special place as my uncle Buddy Brin gave his life in 1945 on that island..Thanks for sharing this fantastic tribute with the rest of us...God's Blessings from Texas.....Ken

Hi Sally...This is a beautiful memorial album. Arlington Cemetery is a beautiful place and so proudly guarded. I like the field of soldiers and I like the statues very much in memory of the wars and soldiers and nurses. The Lincoln Memorial is there too and really looks good in your photos. Today it is Remembrance Day here in Canada and there is a statue in each city or town to honour the vetrans. Thank you also for your kind comments in my cards albums. Had fun making the cards and love seeing everyone's photos. Take care and have a good weekend...hey the carpet is a year old!! :-)and a month. hugs and love, Barbara

Sally, what a neat memorial this is! I had an uncle who went to Korea twice in the war; married a Korean woman but couldn't bring her to the U.S. because she had relatives in the north; had one son by her each time he went to Korea. My mother worked for years trying to get her permission to come to the U.S. (Mother died in '78.) Finally, about six months before my uncle died in the late '90s, his sons managed to get their mother and themselves re-united with their father here in the U.S. You can imagine this memorial has very poignant memories for me. It was not there when I lived in that area. Thanks for doing a whole series and not just one image! Charlotte
