Hi segseven! I enjoyed getting to visit Williamsburg and Monticello through your photos. Bob and I have never been there. It looked especially pretty because of the fall colors. Thanks for visiting our Elephant and Orchid album. You asked about when would be the best time to visit Missouri Botanical Gardens in the spring. Well, we have found from several years of visiting the gardens, that our favorite time is usually mid April (around the 17th of April). Of course, depending on the weather that we are having come March and April, things can be happening sooner or later each year. Since we live in St. Charles, about a 40 minute drive from the Gardens, we start going out there in March on the warm days for the daffodils and other early blooming flowers and just keep going back week after week. That's one of the advantages of living close by. We never find everything blooming all at one time. I hope this has been helpful to you and that you get a chance to visit the Gardens. Have a wonderful day! Sharon (and Bob)
