Hi Sharon & Bob, Yikes! look at all the views and downloads your album has lol. That's pretty impressive and absolutely deserving. Wel, I'll add another view even though I'm here primarily to send you a note ;o) Yes! I did have fun with the video uploads. It was very easy to do though it took a little time. I'm sure glad I have Roadrunner for internet. I couldn't imagine doing this with dialup. Maybe it doesn't matter since were uploading not downloading. IDK. The water Frankie was in wasn't very cold but he usually shys away from water. All the hiking I've been doing with him is toughening him up a bit I think. He is a good companion and very affectionate, though this breed loves to lick constantly. Also, I didn't receive any notes from you through the mail for the videos and they haven't shown up in the albums yet either. I think comments are a little slower to appear then the emails, but I'm not sure. I have some more videos to upload as well if I can find them lost in the albums with my photos. Both of you take care. Enjoy the holiday that is quickly approaching (with the grandchildren no doubt). We plan to! God bless, Ray

Wonderful!! We just had a gorgeous fall in NH with all our reds, oranges and yellows. Your Colorado yellows are so mellow and soothing. Especially with the mountains and the reflections of the lake. These photos were works or art and I really enjoyed them. I'm sending them to several friends who I know will appreciate them as well.

Hi Sharon & Bob, I don't know how I managed to be a month late viewing this amazing album lol. The Colorado Rockies are becoming your own special stomping ground with each new adventure and album. Each one full of amazing scenery and excellent photography. Were you able to make it up to Crater Lake? I would love to see some shots of that trek if you did. I hope you all are enjoying November. It has been quite bleak and wet here. Not great weather for wandering. I hope you both and your family enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. We are greatly blessed and have much to be thankful for. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful album with us. God bless, Ray

Well, I have just drooled over this album again and wanted to let you know that you have helped me decide upon my fall photo destination (if I'm not too late to make lodging arrangements). Is there a particular "window" in September/October that usually favors the aspens being in color? As I recall it's mid-September but I'm not sure. Thanks for sharing your photos and inspiration. Thank you for writing in my guestbook and congratulating me on my featured album From the Sea. What I like most about receiving a feature is the opportunity to hear from fellow members from all over the world and therefore be directed to their albums. I truly do love the beach and know how fortunate I am to live so close to it. Yeah, I really like Merritt Island, it's becoming a favortie sunset spot for me!

Hi Sharon. We had a great time in Florida. We had a whole week without rain. It was sunny and warm, but really windy the last couple of days we were there. Got to spend time with our son Kevin, and he and I went deep sea fishing, but I only caught one fish, so I gave it to someone else. We had a great week. Irma and I look forward to doing it again. You and Bob have a great day, Dwight

Hi Friends. I really enjoyed the Colorado album. Such beautiful pictures. It's amazing to know there is such beautiful scenery for us to see that God has created. Thank you for sharing with those of us that can't travel to see such things. I'm about ready to start walking again but have got to start all over a little at a time and build back up to my 2 miles every day Don't know if I will make it but with God's help I can. I've got to get moveable again being I'm hoping to get a new bully in a few months to keep me busy training and taking pictures of him. Martha and Jed's babies will be here the end of April, hopefully all will go well. Take care...Blessings to You...Edna

Hi, Viewing your albums is a great pleasure. Your photos a spectacular. I have wanted to visit many of these places, but haven't had the opportunity. A couple years ago I took a trip with my best friend who drives a truck and got to see some beautiful places. I took photos from the truck on the highway, from rest stops and truck stops. However, it was a bit frustrating too. We passed turn-offs to so many national parks, but truckers have a schedule to meet and it would have been a bit difficult to tour the parks in an eighteen-wheeler. Thanks for sharing your photos of God's handy work. Marty

By the way...these pictures are gorgeous! Maroon Bells is one of the places that I hope to visit in the near future. My closest "photo buddy" is in the process of moving to Colorado today. Between her and about 15 of my family members that live in the same general area, I'm sure I'll be traveling to Colorado...camera in hand!! In the meantime, I'll keep looking at your pictures! Thanks for sharing, Sharon! :)) Lynn

Hi Sharon, Thanks so much for your sweet note this a.m. As you can probably tell, I am missing Hawaii! I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have gone there & I'm glad that I took LOTS of pics, as I'm sure it will be quite a while before I am able to take a trip like that again! If you ever have the chance to go...just do it!!! I almost said that we had too many other things to spend out money on, but it was our 25th anniversary so we splurged. And, more than that, the Lord knew that it would be the perfect timing for some rest that was dearly needed at that time! Anyways...I hope you have the chance to go yourself real soon!!! Aloha blessings, Lynn

Hi Sharon, The photos in this album are absolutely incredible. These are the most beautiful shots of the Rocky Mountains I think I have ever saw. Your work here is in the Ansel Adams class only better because yours are in beautiful color but just as detailed as Ansel Adams black and white. Photo number 4, "Reflections in Maroon Lake" should be hanging in an art gallery. Sharon you and Bob are truly professional photographers...no truly professional artist with a camera! This is great work...thanks for sharing these great photos...............Gene

Hi sharon! Happy First Day of Spring! What a nice "First Day of Spring" present - a tripod!!! I don't use mine very much but love it when I really need it. :-)))) You two have been to soooo many gorgerous places! No wonder you are such fabulous photographers, how could all that beauty not inspire you! Isn't it exciting to see all these signs of spring coming!:-))) We have iris blooming now too. Our sycamore tree might be able to compete with your gumballs. It sheds it's bark EVERY year along with the seed balls and seeds and it's right outside the back door.:-((((( Nature can be sooooo messy! Yes, the cats do go after the birds while they are feeding. Luckily, they are not good hunters. Toni was dymanite when she was younger but we keep her so well fed now that she isn't all that interested. charlie's legs are about half the length of a normal cats and he is on the plump side so he has a hard time moving fast enough.:-)))))) Hope your game was on and your team won:-)))))!!! Big Hugs and Take Care!!! Jane P.S. Petie is the MOST spoiled!!!

Absolutely stunning photography of one of Colorado's most scenic spots, and the subject of one of my paintings! These are really award-winning photos and some of the best I have seen of the Maroon Bells. "Thanks for sharing" is almost a Webshots clichee, but I do mean it - ha ving most of this album as screen savers.

Without the use of a UV filter on your camera (at high elevations), the sky colors take on a sort of drab, washed-out look. I found that out a few years ago, and am careful to always use that filter above 8 or 9,000'. Great composition. Jon
