Album Description:
China's Great Wall at Simatai, photographed in October 2004. I used a Nikon Coolpix 8700 to capture very large (each around 23MB) black and white TIFF files, which I later processed as a duotone series using Photoshop CS.

Dear Jeff, very beautiful shots!!! Next, the sepia like colour you chose in Photoshop really fits them. And the Nikon Coolpix did its job beautifully! Bravo!!! Best regards, Yoshiyuki Tanaka

Hi Jeff,Many thanks for your comment on my sepia toned album and I'm so pleased to have come back and given yours a thorough viewing, there's no doubt that sepia makes the viewer linger that bit longer and enjoy the atmosphere, composition and textures.Your choice of sepia suits the historic nature of the location perfectly,a beautiful album indeed,Regards,Rod.

Hey Jeff, enjoyed your albums so much, decided to come back for some more today! This one really caught my attention, I love the use of sepia on this subject matter. It has quite a surprising effect, and the photos you've chosen work perfectly for this purpose. I just tried my first black & white and I was just amazed how leaving out the colour can enhance the subject matter. Once you get a little less busy (it took me a few weeks to get caught up after my feature last month) I invite you to come by my other website, worldtripper3 and take a look at symetry in black & white. Have a great weekend, Marita, Houston, Texas
